What is the difference between P1 vs X1?

Besides the GPU?

Graphics and Ram offering from the customise of specs on X1 has 32GB ram only, while the P1 has 2TB ssd with 64GB of Ram between both

Ah got it what about the screens? Need an accurate display colour wise. Currently looking to get laptop for my brother he's studying Graphic Design will be mainly using Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere and Aftereffects. Battery life doesn't matter, weight & portability does. Prefer 15".

Looks like they had removed the UHD HDR400 display, I don’t think at the moment you can get accurate screen by the X-Rite Color Software for 4k panel.

Try to look from P53, can do customise for 4K OLED 350nits or IPS 4k 500nits HDR display comes with 100% sRGB

Current work laptop is 14inch lattitude.

Considering t480 for its battery swap. Anything i need to be aware of? Understand that can add ram and ssd/m2.

If you prefer that traditional laptop there is the best who looking for.
X395 is latest design, comes with 13.3inch 300nits display and lightweight.
If you would like to play more than standard features, the T480 is the best and cheapest one.
Can install dual storage SSD or HDD and 2 module of ram.

Build quality are the same one.
T480 to T490s all same.
Just depend how you cares or careless user.

Those laptops comes with 45/65W Charger all can be using the powerbank charge.

T480 more suitable for those working in office job.

to me, having a physical LAN port is too important. i hate dongles. having a laptop is about portability and ease of access. i do experience hotels with LAN port but no wifi.

This is an excellent question.

Given the circumstances, i should put this as a critical point too.

Or at least i must make sure i have my dongle with me everywhere.

Wont be using this laptop in a normal 8 to 5 environment.
