when the guy in the video load the gun he gets 20 shots, how come when i load mine i only get 5 shots???

its called siege mode. Got shitload of ammo but cannot move. Cant even compared to the great "autofire" skill in mhfu, sigh.. The main reason i never touch HBG in MHP3RD, double sigh..

yesterday's gathering was fun, gotten a lot of caffeine to jump start the fight but the corrupted data was bad.

Added on October 9, 2011, 11:11 amWhy are u dismissing the HBG just because you dont "autofire". Siege mode is good, if you learn and know how to use it properly. It takes more "skill" using HBG.
Go look up minegrade.com and find the MHP3rd HBG videos there. Here's two examples:

I think you need to upgrade your armor...to fight high rank monsters, all ur armor needs to at least to be "S" or "U" type. I see all your armor is normal low rank armor...its half as effective. That's why you die so fast yesterday.

Also, try to get an armor "set" so you'll get the benefits of the armor abilities.

hbg is for those sissy like me. can shoot far far and autoguard.

LOL but I dont use autoguard.

Its not sissy either ;P You get 1 KO often XD

pick hbg, press square and circle together. Got ammo about 20ish perclip. The bad thing is you cannot move until you go out from the siege mode.
Im a hardcore HBGer during MHFU days, i can solo all the g rank mission using that and autofire. But now, iam not so sure soloing using hbg because of a much smaller clips in HBG nowadays. I suspect they deliberately do this to ensure people use the siege mode. Since LBG got the side steps, they got me interested. Please show me a HBGer tackle a tiggy using siege mode solo without cats and i might reconsider my statement above.
But, all of that is just my personal opinion, if my opinion is wrong, then please correct me.
