This is coz our mirrors dont have the required wiring, motor, gears and switches ma... so have to buy the whole mirror AND change the existing switch to one that have a additional button to fold and unfold the mirror...

ckk125: me not getting the switch, I have adjusted my HID to the perfect level as I want it... don need to adjust so no need switch lo... worried later screw thread strip like you old headlamps....

Mine got worst chasis than yours. I just got this car few more weeks early than you but my chasis is nearly 4k only. /sigh
But so far, i don't detect any major prob so i can bear with it. Got new production car also no used if car got prob.    If you detect any silly prob from your car, yea you can start blaming Proton for giving you suspicious condition car.

Ok, I'll check it when I test drive it today. I worry cuz the SA told me there's ready stock in the showroom, and since I'm getting a 1.8CVT, lagi afraid it might be a rollover from last year stock.

It's one of the cars parked at the showroom, without number plate, its also one of the car depot in penang, so they got about 10-15 Inspiras over there. If its already there, I'm sure the SA can easily tell me at least the front 2 numbers of the chasis number (as a reference, 6xxx should be this year manufactured year right?).

No way im going to take the test drive car, unless they give me discount of RM20-30k . No service, unknown drive history hmmmm....

Sure...will check on the reception..so far driving around d'sara and bdr utama seems fine. Missed using my thumbdrive though...all my MP3 tunes are in it. Gotta burn those on a CD.

So guys who changed HU still have this issue? Nevermind, let Clarion crack their head first figuring how to solve. If I tell them change HU also have this issue, then they will wash hands... I have asked them if changing longer antenna will solve the issue but they say they tried but not much improvement. Let me figure out where the wire runs.. could be running near the air cond motor causing magnetic interference... If you google, you will see that our problem is not isolated, lancers in other countries experience the same thing even with their premium HU.

Can anyone answer my previous questions about the service vouchers? The SA told me that service vouchers are not used anymore, as the service details are now checked online. So I won't be getting any service vouchers. I went to the SC and they too confirmed that the service vouchers are not being used anymore.

i realize the sound insulation not very good. Can hear the road sound! sound from Engine bay is OK. Any recommended WS i can go to to install that autofoam thingy ah?

I felt the the sound when was i hitting 120-140km/h at the hilly roads at balik pulau (fraser hill equivalent road for those in mainland). Of course it is still way quieter than my Wira.

Anyway if you're in penang and looking for a test drive, I recommend you go to the proton eon center at Bayan Lepas, look for this sales guy called Khairul. He really allow you to do anything with the car. After my session, he led me a empty car park space for me try to high speed 8 turning and emergency stops. Basically it was a tyre screeching session. He wants to prove that the handling and stability of this car is very different compared to the other models.

Anyway, warranty on the timing chain is lifetime one izzit?

for the buffers, really nice difference....i travel from sunway to lcct today.....speed the whole way....the stretch from after toll, to lcct is really bumpy.....but now, i dun feel so bouncy now...and feel more in control when going over bumpy road at high speed....

You guys have to live with this feature due to design limitation of a single chip tuner technology. Its either that or get noisy reception whenever near buildings or obstructions.. No matter how they balance, noise is more annoying (headache after a while) than the softening feature. I have chosen back the ori set after testing 4 diff sets with different fixes/parameters. When travelling in open spaces you will not have this disturbance. For those of you who have changed HU and still have this problem may be due to many other brands has also adopted this single chip tuner since 2008.
