QUOTE(DrPitchard @ Jul 9 2013, 11:18 PM) Schedule H states 36 months and I guess that figure is a reasonable figure after considering all the factors. Anything much faster than that would certainly incur extra cost and thus, not a wise decision from a business point of view. Yeah, I also think that if that is too early for VP, like 2-3 years, probably we won't be able to see any "progress" in commercial advancement in Cyberjaya, within the next 3 years it should be quite empty, but when come to next 4-5 years onwards, we should be able to see "something" in Cyberjaya.....hopefully that time commercial elements will be there when Solstice is ready for VP, so it wont be a boring place to live with.... |

Was wonder if we are able to lodge a complaint to any authorities for breach of what they have promised initially when they are in selling Solstice.
Damn to the max. However, was wonder what we can do, since there is no best legislated protection for home buyer in Malaysia, as developer can always change their master plan as they wish.... |

QUOTE(MakeYouHappy @ Sep 23 2014, 05:03 PM) I think Facebook group is a good idea since Pangaea doesn't have a buyer group yet. We need to gather as many owners of Paragon, Solstice, Eclipse as soon as we can to ensure our voice be heard. What I think if we are setting up a facebook page, then we gather all the Pangaea home buyers together, will be easier, as I think not all of them might be aware thru lowyat. However, any events which to voice out our dissatisfaction, count me in....... |

QUOTE(propertybbb @ Sep 28 2014, 10:06 PM) We have to beware of this, last time OSK assured us there will be a 500k sq ft mall, after that they shrinking to 300k sd ft mall, and now they told us "future retail mall", which under this definition, it is not necessary a shopping mall, thats why we need to get clarified from them..... |

QUOTE(den @ Sep 28 2014, 10:52 PM) Actually street mall has already been part of the planning since 2012, on top of the Gallery. They called it Patio. I think it's part of the central landscape. Yeah indeed, in order to safeguard our as home buyer interest, we should all voice our concern to OSK, as well as housing ministry. We cannot afford to keep silent, else those developer can just give us empty promise which will not materialize as they wish.So more like they are removing the shopping mall entirely. Imagine some of us spend our hard earned money to buy an unit in Pangaea, which I am believed that most of us bought it for its concept, without office block, hotel and shopping mall, Pangaea is nothing except ordinary condominium, but OSK charges us premium price for Pangaea for the concept, since they revoked all these features, we need to fight for our rights. Imagine without these features, Pangaea is nothing, and once all these previous hotel, office block turn into residential, especially studio, it will affect the ROI of our units. Therefore, to safeguard our interest, we need to fight till the end.....This is simply unethical and con us for sure...... |

QUOTE(freetransgressor @ Sep 29 2014, 05:15 PM) I have also written in to Lim Kian Hock and cc to Chee Kok Keong (AGM). Waiting for their reply. I felt severly compromised beacuse what attracted me to Pangea is the futuristic facades design of the hotel and shopping mall and the greenery on the patio. Those are the main selling points and they are taking it off and replacing with a very common looking Kepler apartment. Also increasing competitions to Solstice and Eclipse making the returns less attractive. If the initial master plan does not include the hotels, shopping mall and patio mall but the Kepler, I wouldn't have bought Solstice and would rather invest others. Felt so cheated. Bro, What is the Chee Kok Keong's email? I think I will send email directly to him too... |

QUOTE(JamesPond @ Sep 29 2014, 06:02 PM) Why dont you book an appointment with management? To discuss further? Indeed, definitely we will request an appointment with the management, however, what I think is, the most important thing is, we will send out email (although higher chance for oversight), at least we have black and white 1st, once we can gather significant number of home buyers, then we only have power to bargain with OSK to request for a meeting.....those big shot wont check mail and usually filter by their secretary. |

QUOTE(mroys@lyn @ Sep 30 2014, 06:30 PM) is this the right approach? In fact, our intention is not to tarnish OSK Property's image, and throw hurling accusations and damaging developer reputation, we are just a home buyer trying to defend our rights.if developer really breached the signed spa, get a lawyer to sue them. i sure the fees for this is justifiable compare to vw case as mentioned in earlier posts. hurling accusations and damaging developer reputation will only make Pangaea worse. Imagine, if we did not protest for whatever wrongdoing of the developers, this might be an opening case to all other developers. Imagine when you buy a home from a developer, with an impressive concept with premium price tag, but later on they simply changed to simpler or downscale to whatever they want, therefore, all your money will be meant throw to the ocean...... We dont want this happened in Malaysia, and trying to convey to developers, that they cannot do anything what they want. They should consult with the home buyer to achieve win win situation. About SPA, how you expect we all sued the developers due to removal of shopping malls n hotel? its not part of the SPA. If we can sued the developer based on this, I think we have already done that. Thats why we need to gather with all the affected home buyers to sghow our strength. Once we gathered significant home buyers, then we only have bargaining power to request OSK to organize meeting with us, else, with smaller number of peoples turn out, they will just ignore us for sure..... However, just my 2 cents opinion....>Cheers and chill.... |

QUOTE(morning06 @ Sep 30 2014, 09:22 PM) wow i just knew bout this when i got a pm to join the fb group... Base on the numbers of ppl in the fb group, looks like majority of the buyers are still not aware of this or they just don't care bout it Indeed, I am believed that most of the buyers are not aware yet. Thats why we need to figure out how to grab their attention on this matter....So whats the action plan now? Can we even get lawyer to help us with this? |

QUOTE(JamesPond @ Oct 1 2014, 01:47 AM) After being discussed for some time, I do not see a proper resolution yet. We cannot just forget it, else next time those developers will just simply do whatever they want....Even this case is not qualify to go for court or tribunal. Just forget it. Consider a lesson learnt. That's the difference between Malaysians with the westerner.....As we kept silence when we got bullied, but westerners will stood up and fight for their rights even the situation is difficult.... |
