Just got a note from my local mobile dealer that he is getting stocks for the 10.1 3G tomorrow. Price Rm2499/
Aaaahhh... if only it had capabilities to text and call(not really that important). But txt important. I also assumed that one could go with whatsapp but then, not everybody has an android or apple.
That's one of the reason that I cancelled my project to own this device and opted for the tab before stocks ran out.

I am posting the procedure below so don't ask:

Procedure (ODIN !):
- Press the thanks button
- Download and extract the firmware zip
(P1000DXJPI_P1000DXJPE_P1000OLBJPH_HOME.tar)
- Download and extract the attached (gt-p1000_mr_PIT.zip)
- Download and extract the attached (dbdata.zip)
- Flash the firmware tar as PDA, repartition enabled, use the attached PIT
- After flash immediately boot into download mode again
- Flash dbdata.tar as PDA (NO repartition)
- After flash immediately boot into recovery mode
- Wipe cache
- Wipe data / factory reset
EDIT: The bootloaders ARE signed, but NOT secured. Custom kernels and firmwares can still be flashed !

i read it from xda forum that the dbdata.tar is used to prevent the reboot from hanging at the samsung logo. I have tried rebooting after the flash without dbdata and it does hang at the logo. After a flash again with dbdata the tab spring to life and reboot. i am not sure what the dbdata does but it works nevertheless and alllows the tab to flash seamlessly.

hello, i just got my p1000, havent open the box yet, coz i don have SP and case, any cheap SP and case recommended?

Im using the tab now, can i put my maxis broandband sim card to surf and call/sms?

This is very correct. Mine current is stock gb, sometimes lagging need to clear memory. Does kratos really that fast u never even had to clear memory?

go look at garage sales section. got forumer selling those item. btw... tab screen hardly scratch unless you use a really sharp knife... tongue.gif

Already kena once with icarus.
so now i just wait comment from forumer at lowyat n at xda
if its ok than this weekend upgrade to kratos

That my main reason stay with stock Rom. . . Too many unpredictable n individual issue. . . Update is just bug fixing but more bug created. . . . .
