lol that might be a problem any news if P1000 will get HC update or it will never happen?

i dont think P1000 will get HC update coz 7.7 might be release within this year...

Very sure no hc for p1000/1010 tabs
simply it will affect 7.7 sales
present users will be tempted to uograde
if still in production it will remain basiic starter tablet fir budget conscious users. dont be surprised with 7.7 present tab retail rm1000 for 3g/wifi

I hoping it will be released sonner but I'm sure those pesky lawyer in apple will manage to delay the launch

I urgently need help here so desperate. I want to get some help, am I posting at the right topic? I am using Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1000. Here is my problems:

1. I exchanged twlauncher.apk and removed .odex (I backup a copy of .odex)

2. After I had replaced, my home button doesn't work but showing Force Close towards twlauncher

3. So I decided to try to root my phone, even with Android SDK & ADB they won't detect my galaxy tab (Used Droid Explorer & Android Commander without Kies condition)

4. But I had failed to root (no experience + less guidance on GOOGLE)

5. Then I try to go for Power + Volume Up + Home mode...which is also ClockWorkMod

6. I chosen Wipe Cache, now my tab is in dead condition

It won't boot up passing the Samsung logo & it won't charge anymore.

Any experienced or pros here, kindly guide me. Sigh~ I thought of get rid of tab's ugly icon backdrop. End up bricked my tab

I also had an experienced brick my tab, what i did is download Odin3 and stock ROM. put tab on download mode by pressing on + vol down.. And start reinstall fresh n new ROM

Guys, my orientation lock seems not working anymore. When i activated the auto rotation screen, it does not move the screen to horizontal view. How do we check this if any issue at my sgt? Luckily when play videos n youtube still can go horizontal

U are using widget or default one ? If widget, just reinstall it back.

Default as in the notifications screen. How to do? Is there any location that we can enable/disable this in the settings? Or is it just in the notifications screen?

what launcher did you use... some 3rd party launcher need to activated the setting...

i want to by Tab..i know now got 10.1..but this one for my mom..i saw at Harvey Norman is selling..so the software still FROYO 2.2.. as i know latest fw would be gingerbread 2.3 right?? any link can help me to install the new fw..

inb4 i don't know anything about android at all..
