how old is ur tab bro? mine is like 1 yrs ++. what symptom did u notice that enquire it to change battery? complete dead ke?

My melaka friend change his battery for rm180 no more warranty above 6 months. He told me
- discharge very fast 30-40% in an hour while idle
- charging slow.off charging immediate drop 20%

what ROM u guy using?i using overcome kratos, any others nice ROM?

I urgently need help here  so desperate. I want to get some help, am I posting at the right topic? I am using Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1000. Here is my problems:

1. I exchanged twlauncher.apk and removed .odex (I backup a copy of .odex)

2. After I had replaced, my home button doesn't work but showing Force Close towards twlauncher

3. So I decided to try to root my phone, even with Android SDK & ADB they won't detect my galaxy tab (Used Droid Explorer & Android Commander without Kies condition)

4. But I had failed to root (no experience + less guidance on GOOGLE)

5. Then I try to go for Power + Volume Up + Home mode...which is also ClockWorkMod

6. I chosen Wipe Cache, now my tab is in dead condition

It won't boot up passing the Samsung logo & it won't charge anymore.

Any experienced or pros here, kindly guide me. Sigh~ I thought of get rid of tab's ugly icon backdrop. End up bricked my tab

i want to by Tab..i know now got 10.1..but this one for my mom..i saw at Harvey Norman is selling..so the software still FROYO 2.2.. as i know latest fw would be gingerbread 2.3 right?? any link can help me to install the new fw..

You can go to the service center near federal highway beside the avon building.
Very fast but remember to backup all your stuff b4 upgrade.

Hi fren, better dont use the kies. Even samsung technical also not trust the software.
Last time when i ask why i cant upgrade thru kies at service center, technical staff said the kies cannot trust.

Guys.. I have this error "Database storage low" and my tab keep crashing.  I check the memory, and the internal SD almost full at 81MB..

Seems like common problem, as when I google there are a lot of this issue but none of the solution work for me.

I tried deleting my contact and sms. But still the internal SD memory won't go down.. pls help :-(

For cm9 after you flash, is phone or tablet ui?
If default is phone ui, can change to tablet ui by editing DPI to 170?

just flashed my tab p1000 with cm9 rc1..all working fine..but the battery make me crazy...no deep sleep!
