I have some qualms with Defect Rectifications too. Look at the image below. The hand bidet is on the shower side for all the baths in my unit. They Defect Rectification guys put it in the Defect List. When they called to say everything is done, I was quite happy to see all defects on the list rectified satisfactorily except this one. Apparently, they contacted the architect and he said its meant to be like that. doh.gif

I called the architect myself to confirm and to my surprise he said the same told to me by Defect Rectification guys. Long story short, I gotta do it myself because apparently the architect showers without a glass partition...

I'm just wondering if other Mozart Units are the same. If it is then I'll just let it go but if its not, I wanna do a complaint. Another thing is that according to management, handover department and defect guys, Mozart Units come with water heater and pump. Mine seems to be non existent. Can any Mozart Owner confirm this? Its not stated in my SNP that I get a water heater and pump.

The switch is on the top floor. Leave it on for a while and try again. If its not working, ask them to fix it.

Hey Guys - could you give me some pointers on what to check with regards to defects? This is my 1st time with a new home from the developer.

Aside, i saw the Skylight in Schubert is very dirty. Is it something the developer needs to clean before they hand me the unit?

Thanks in-advance!

Cheers,
EK

You can request developer to clean it.

add on:
1. scratches on windows/glass panel.
2. dock lock and make sure the key is working.
3. check any water leakage for the wash basin by turning on the water.

My defects. After 6 weeks still not rectified.

1. Shaky glass railing.
2. Hollow / warped timber flooring
3. Main door with scratches and chipped.
4. Very very low water pressure at top floor.

Existing owners staying in SH, so you face all these issues?

I quite disappointed with how they handle my case. 6 weeks still can't start my renovation work :-(

The resident representative met the developer a few days ago. Hopefully everything will be fixed.

I had mainly the following issues so far:
1. Dirty walls
2. Painting above wood skirting not properly done
3.Cracked tiles in some bathrooms
4.Silicon glue around bathroom sink top peeling off
5. Shaky glass railing
6. Doors have gaps after closing
7. Wood flooring have paint stains (looks like they have washed it but the stains are still visible)
8. Dirty skylight
9. Some light switches not fixed well to the wall
10. Deck outside the house has a lot of paint stains

I also noticed the low water pressure on the top floor; when i raised it to the management office, they said to make sure the water pump is working and the top floor is getting water from the tank and not the main water line. But i still didn't fix my fuse to the house to verify that (not living in the house).
