It is a Class A amp which is quite a good performer.

I need some advice here.
I just bought a pair of Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250Ohms, though they have not arrived yet. It's my first pair of "proper" headphones.

I'm looking for an amp for it, as the general consensus of Beyer headphones are that it needs an amp. I'm thinking of a Bravo V2.

Is this a good pairing? Are there any cares that I should take whenever I use the amp? I don't want to blow the drivers of my first pair of headphones just because I had a brainfart.

i just got my new hd600,looking for a dac/amp for it. usually will play flac/mp3 thru my desktop com.
act been doing research for quite sometime,decided to get either a xonar essence stx sound card/portable amp+dac e17,which would be sound better
actually? or any better recommendation around that price?

bravo will make it sound relatively musical and entertaining, not for the purists's ears, tube amps have a life span, due to the wear and tear on the tube itself, solid state will last longer and sound differently than of tubes

Guys, currently i have a setup of cricri+ with goldring headphone, as suggested by bro noobandroid, if i pair up with external dac and i will get a better sound. Currently im eyeing on ess sabre aka UD100 since there are lots of good comments and good price too. So the question is will i get improvement from UD100 or should i just stick with the internal dac of cricri+ ?

I'm getting a Superlux HD631 then also getting a FiiO E6 as well
My headphone pair with this amp work well?
I heard some proS said the sensitivity of HD631 (101dB) is higher than E6's signal to noise ratio which is >95dB
Then it only increase the volume and no improvement in audio
How it works actually? I'm a noob here
