Next year after i brought bait caster reel and rod only can go fishing with you guys.

braid -> leader -> snap -> lure

don't use a swivel to work a lure. a swivel might alter the action of the lure.

when i was shopping for a leader, i didn't have much choices. the heaviest line they had was a 12lbs berkley vanish. so i'm using that atm.

if i were to replace my leader now, i would definitely get this

Went ls on Friday, they reopen after cleaning the pond friend caught 6 jenahak average size 2-3kg, I bought my saltiga to open ceremony, knn eat WHITEFRUIT.

i used to go there at night a long time ago, even then, i also go home empty handed.

my friends are still reporting good catch size in tow foo, in the morning. but they take the boat out.

I've actually done fishing before few times previously using my old man's rod and reel.not lending me his toys now I presume?haha.but no harm investing for a good rod and reel anyways eh?
my budget is rm500tops which includes rod,reel, and line.
usually do bottom fishing and no specific type of fish.just for the fun of it atmo.
I was thinking of paying the kepong tackle shop which I saw online cause they open till late at night and I still can go over after work .they sell lots of Shimano it seems.
currently looking at the shimano tekota reel.no idea how much tht is.any info?
