just had my first jigging/casting trip a week ago in Pulau Jarak, with GT chasers by tekong Ah Hoo. It was a a good experience even though I only landed 1 GT. Wah, newbie in this hobby also been on sailfish trip for 7-8 times, so jealous. Next time when you got trip and you lack of kaki, maybe you can consider to put invitation here, i'm sure they are interested, lol

yeah, if the sea is too rough better not take the risk. there has been already 1 case recently. It's the monsoon season already, take much caution being in the sea.

Not all bc are made to withstand sea water corrosion. I think a round profile suits your application than a low profile.

Sorry mate i never had any round profile i cant give any advice. My suggestion would have 1 set for baitcasting freshwater(abu black max 2+rod of your preference) and 1 set for seafishing(spinning reel)

cool, maybe then you can share with us what rods and reels that you are going to buy or bought.
