Maybe i'm noob but i've makan-ed white fruit twice before at exotic using only lures. My advice is if you ain't getting any bite by the end of the 2nd hour just use live bait.

My last white fruited session at exotic was last monday and i tried sp, tried hard body lure, tried spoon but just no take.  Som bottom kakis came 30 mins before i chao use chicken intestine i think straight away kena labi labi 30 over kilo just 10 mins after his first cast. Then another bottom kaki near the bridge kena temoleh 5kg. When i outside keeping my stuff into my car the same fella who kena labi labi hooked up another fish but not sure what izzit.

Today's session at jurassic was a dramatic one...one of the best top water session i had as well as the most expensive...lost 1 storm popper, 1 rapala skitter pop and 1 hinomoya pencil to a toman frenzy that lasted for a mere 20 minutes just before the sky went completely dark. It's practically boiling at the back and the toman will whack whatever landed on the water. Never really had a chance to reel any of em back. These buggers just dashed all the way till the line loosen once hooked up. When i reel back the first 2 the swivel part on the leader was cut while the last 1 then entire leader gone.

ermmm i think bro 1dollar should just go and get 1...use it and get the hang out of it before thinking about super tuning them

If you had the curado 50e in mind then get the scorpion xt 1001...basically same reel with some parts upgraded.

Or better still get the revo alt so can be used for saltwater...siakap pond are still much more affordable compared to jurassic / exotic... just 20g xtra but still very light at 179g. This is actually my first choice but ended up with mgx coz ss2 tackle don't have it.

Sorry to say that I'm about to open up a can of worms... Please do forgive me if I've said anything wrong...   

Although I don't bring fish back as well and am a firm believer in catch and release, I don't really see it's such a big deal for ppl to be taking back 1 PB for consumption or whatever he plans to do it with. If he took any other local species like Toman/Haruan/Sebarau etc by the guni loads I'll be pissed as well  

PB's are foreign species that have invaded our waters by the truck loads and eliminating our local species, just like how the snakeheads/asian carps are invading the U.S.  I still remember quite a few years back I've seen photos of people (not sure if some organization or personal effort) putting in quite a number of juvenile tomans in subang lake to control the PB infestation, so after so many years I've not really seen anyone pull up any toman also from the subang lake, which means that most likely kena sapu by the PB liao.

Thought I'd shed some light on this matter to help protect our local indigenous species which is getting harder and harder to get (sad to say   ) nowadays in the wild. I think in the future our children may not get the chance to feel the wrath of wild tomans/sebaraus and etc.!

Dunno how to appreciate em,.. ppl pay 300-500 for a wild caught b.macrostoma last time. Life span 2-3 years ?
