BTW : they say you should change your routine every 3 - 4weeks right?
What if i do only body weight exercises ( push up, pull ups, squats ) , i still have to change ? I meant like the only exercise i know that works the lat muscles are pullups

good morning, you change because you had hit a plateau which mean you're not making any gains or improvement already.body tends to adapt to thing that we do.so yeah, just to spice it up.you change your routine. there are alot of back exercise. seated row,pulldown,t-bar row, barbell row, lower back extension. use this link.. xD

Hi guys, newbie here..I'm 178cm and 93kg with 24.7% b/f. I've started hitting the gym about a year ago and only about 2-3 months ago I started lifting free weights and bars (although only bench presses with the bar). Almost within a week, I noticed a greater amount of gains in terms of strength and size (mass). Then I read about compound exercises and how it utilizes 70-80% of your body (for a squat) compared to just 3-5% when doing barbell curls. If I am not mistaken it was from a sticky on lyn's bb forum too.
With that in mind, I went over to bodybuilding.com's forum and looked for a beginner's workout. I found this workout by
all pro. You can view it here:
Simple Beginner's Routine. I am about to start this workout this week and based on what I've read in the threads in LY's bodybuilding forum about squats, deadlifts...basically compound exercises, I'm hoping to really start gaining a lot with compound exercises.
Er I've just realised what I've written doesn't not really serve any function but hey I'm just excited to be able to find a group of people in malaysia who are into working out and thought I'd share this workout too..so happy working out!
happy working out. and read the stickies for more info
