QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Aug 16 2011, 10:20 AM) r we still? i doubt we r still able to go to the gym if we r still, let alone eat tat much. Yes we are stil a third world country. A country does not have to be full of starving people to be a third world country, that picture is something of a misconception.

If someone were to jump in halfway and seeing how everyone is claiming razorboy to be 10" - 17".... QUOTE(-Dan @ Aug 16 2011, 04:35 PM) Oh man, definitely hope it isn't a slipped disc, bro. Best to get it checked up and confirmed. Back injuries are the last thing we want in life, I can testify. Fingers crossed. Even wearing pants is tough, but more and more it's feeling like a muscular problem. Going to see a doc on the weekend if there are no good signs. QUOTE(-Dan @ Aug 17 2011, 11:02 AM) Bloody hell, pulled my right trapezius at the end of my workout on the 1st set of shrugs just now. Felt a twinge in the muscle on the 9th rep. Tried to stretch it out and do another set but it was bothering me so much I decided to end it there for today. Been rolling on a tennis ball for the past 5 minutes and now I've got an ice pack strapped to my back. Sigh, stuff like this is irritating as hell. :/ QUOTE(MelForC3 @ Aug 17 2011, 12:53 PM) I stop squatting and deadlift for temporary ==" My lower back n knee doesn't feel right... guess take a break from that for a while... Take care. Seems it's injury season, friend did in his triceps yesterday. Back gotten a lil better and I'm bored hollidaying at home, gonna hit the Chest workout today.

QUOTE(MelForC3 @ Aug 17 2011, 03:32 PM) is barbell.. i tot suppose to go for 1.5 BW... that one i only can go for 5-6 reps but i dun do it always because I'll start shaking and out of form.. if dumbell, i'll go for 80lbs.. DAMMIT! How is 90 per side considered weak?? You've been watching too much of darkie's vids. 1.5BW for bench? You sure? I thought it was 1x BW for bench, 1.5xBW for squats and 2xBW for deadlifts already enough for you to be considered strong. Unless of course you're comparing against strength athletes.

QUOTE(mikehuan @ Aug 17 2011, 05:13 PM) BW bench is already considered to be the weight to shoot for when you start lifting seriously. about the phase to upgrade from beginner to advanced level imo. to contribute, i can bench 70kgsx10 without fear/spotter/shitty scenarios playing in my head. 80kgs for 4 reps so far, but need spotter in case i get pinned. im weigh 77kgs now. chill man, the only guy u need to compete with is yourself. just keep adding on weight a lil at a time. there are guys in my gym benching 3 plates for reps and im aiming to at least compete with that, but it'll take years for me to reach that level. I usually go 60-70kgs without a spotter, depending on how my body is feeling. 60 on days my body tells me it isn't at the races, 70 when it's feeling good. Never broken the 200lbs barrier, the day I hit my goal of 225 is the day I do the hokey pokey around the gym.

QUOTE(ChinHong86 @ Aug 19 2011, 10:21 PM) erm.... nope they have a machine in my gym sumthing like the one on top btw is this movement the same as bent over rows? as i am doing both of it oso... Added on August 19, 2011, 10:21 pmbtw i tot he said sorry to everyone already? There's a machine like this in my gym. No problems with breathing when using it. I know when it's set heavy the weight can seem to drag your chest into the pad, but I keep everything tight and my chest has no problems resisting the pressure. If he did say sorry I'm a little disappointed. I expected a little more kicking and screaming. This post has been edited by statikinetic: Aug 19 2011, 10:32 PM

Jamie working late, rayne killed herself doing chest yesterday. zzz What the..?! Incredibly fast progress, I thought your previous pic with veins popping on the chest was pretty sick.

QUOTE(mikehuan @ Aug 20 2011, 11:41 AM) lol im sure theres tons of people at the gym willing to train with ya. just walk around with a "workout partner wanted" sign stuck to your back. He'll look intimidating to some of them, that's for sure. *Reracks the bar after squats* Random guy : Wooh, these squats are tough. Your turn bro. Darkie : Thanks. *Does bicep curls* Random guy : WTF....

haha, sorry dont mean to troll. but really, my gym has people half squatting 60kgs.. and benching even less! good luck on your back man. squatting has improved my posture and back strength so it might do your back some good i suppose... Ditto that. If we were to take everyone in the gym and average out their bench, it wouldn't even be 60kg. There are a lot of people benching less than that. 60kg curls lol, I think a lot of newbies are going to point you out to their trainer and say 'That's what I wanna do'.

Just got home from accompanying a friend shopping for supplements. Encountered a scenario which I find rather disturbing, you tell me if it's just me yeah?
So, as we were browsing around there were these 3 college kids (I think) grabbing a tub each of NO Xplode. 2 were skinny, the third was very overweight and all 3 didn't look like they've ever been in a gym. Now not to discriminate but with my curiosity piqued, I tried to strike up a conversation.
Me : You guys planning to hit the heavy weights huh? Them : No lah, we don't go to gym wan. Later become like all the muscle guy haha Me : *bites tongue* Them : This one good for study! Take one time really can concentrate. Some more during exam time add extra a bit...really can feel the effect Me : ...... *shocked* Them : *runs off*
Is it just me or is there something seriously wrong with this whole scenario?

I really hope so. But they seemed to have no knowledge on dosage. Like they said, they just add scoops if it's exam time or they plan to study through the night.

QUOTE(darklight79 @ Aug 21 2011, 04:48 PM) You should have told them getting muscles is a side effect. The effect is delayed, only happens 6 months later. Haha, didn't cross my mind. They seemed pretty keen on bolting when I started talking to them.
