hi all...i have 1 question here...im now using samsung galaxy S i9000 phone which have front camera but just today i notice thats i cant use it for 3g call or ym video call ...do anyone here knows how to make it function..i have read some web said thats i need to root and install the application on the phone to use the front camera is it true?

Hmmm... previously I used it on Huawei X5, LG O2x, LG Black, no problem at all. I might try another card on I9000 any c how it work. Thanks for the comment~

To put it on another perspective, android users can mod their phone whichever they want without being prevented so. They already have an advanced os, put on an iOS skin = advanced beautiful phone.

Fyi, apple did everything to prevent iOS users from jb but they fail everytime.

Yes you can use 3g call. It has existed since it first came out in June last year. Ym also works, but you need to be rooted to use the front camera. See first page.

my phone keep booted. what should i do?

Firmware: XXJVQ 2.3.4
Baseband: XXJVQ
Kernel: CF V3.7 + ext4 + tweaks
CWM Manager: V2.0
Busybox: 1.19
Theme: Crysis Sensation 1.7.2 for JVQ

what did you flashed? From cwm or odin?

im using odin

i flash xxjvq + CF 3.7, enable lagfix tweaks and theme as stated.. everyhting work fine untill today, keep booted every ~5 minute

just noticed when i wanna go online and it just booted

odd that it suddenly reboots. Try clearing cache, dalvik cache.

Incompatible theme perhaps? Is the theme made for JVQ?

true, iphone is not expensive. it is just not worth the price (for me).

Its an irony that the most desirable things are usually the most not worth it. Its something SGS owner probably will never understand. Its not about the beauty of the product. Its not about what the product can do. Its about the feeling of owning one. The pride to have one.

Here is the scenario...
I work offshore and I always bring my Rm90 LG phone as an alarm because there is no line out here. But this trip, I decided to bring along my SGS so that I can listen to my mp3 and play some games. Everytime I bring out my phone, people would ask me...."Is that an iPhone?" or simply "iPhone?" No one ever ask me is that a "Samsung Galaxy?" or simply "Galaxy?" or "Andriod?"
Ever wonder why?

If you go an ask those school kids what phone the want to have, I can guarantee you that 9 out of 10 would say the iPhone. You won't hear much about Galaxy or android at all. Ever wonder why?

What apple did here is create a branding so strong that it has become a household name. You might disagree with me, but look around you and do a reality check. The SGS might be a better phone than the iphone, but in reality it means nothing to the majority of the users.

So before you say something like Iphone is definetely not of it, think again.
