QUOTE(Jason5877 @ Jul 1 2011, 10:16 PM) Thanks~ Any guide?? Another things is. I have LG Black with Nova screen on hand. Compare with the SGS. The SGS way dim and more to blue when in white color. That normal for SGS? Depends on your definations of normal. A lot of people here seems to worship the super amoled screen, but i find the color very un-natural. White looks bluish. It looks very colorful and bright but when put side by side with other phone( i won't mention which one) the color of amoled is way off. |

Nova screen is the brightest with 700nits compared to 400 for our sgs. It is true that sgs with stock firmware has inaccurate colour reproduction. However, it can be fixed with voodoo colour driver.
It is unfortunate that amoled screen production is only owned by samsung. other company (like a fruit one) would love to get their hands with it. Last I hear, super amoled + screen is the best display out there. |

It is no doubt very sharp. i don't think it is very sharp. it is 800x480 on a 4" screen. htc desire has the same resolution on 3.7"I can see subpixel bleeding out of a text when reading ebook. that's the downside of pentile. about colour, it can be modified if you have voodoo colours infused to the custom kernel. I'm looking forward to samsung producing more amoled screen. lcd has reached its peak and can hardly be improved. Brighter, lower power consumption, bendable, I believe amoled is the future. |

In here there is only one winner. The most natural display i see among the 4 was iPhone4, followed by Incredible S. X10 tends to be brighter.. and our SGS is very warm in colour... this is the pic we used to compare... btw, its the correct resolution for our SGS.. it was my wallie last time~ » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(gmhafiz @ Jul 2 2011, 06:24 PM) Nova screen is the brightest with 700nits compared to 400 for our sgs. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ME!!!!! PLEASE!!! I had recently installed the where's my droid application and when i try to test the changing sim card function(where this app will send a sms to a phone number that i set notifying me my phone had changed sim card), and when i try to change different sim card to test the function and when i restart my phone, my phone loading in the 'S' sign for a long time ( i thought it is the where my droid app problem) , so i try to force turn off my phone instead of let it keep on loading and want to change back to my original sim card but the phone will automatically restart everytime i try to turn off, so i direct pull out it's battery and put back my original sim card and start my phone again, this time my phone successfully logging to the user interface, but Problems occured: weird thing happen, all my contact loss in the phone and most of my application installed corrupted, also the phone becomes slower and lagger(e.g. when i try to type *126# to check my phone credit balance, my phone delay for a long time, about 30sec to show me the credit balance) and when my phone receive a sms, it will send a same message duplicated many times, when some one send me a sms, it keep on sending the same message in a time interval(e.g. sending the same sms every 30 minute for 3 hour) What should i do? I just need to flash a new room using ODIN? does a corrupted andoid OS affect the flashing proccess and make my phone brick? THANKS!!! |
