Internet in Malaysia.. the most common you get in households are usually 1Mbps...and 512 kbps of course.
Only this year I see more marketing on faster packages for households.

hehe. I live in Shah Alam currently with unifi 20mbps. I download many files (shows, music, etc) daily which I probably continue to do in uni and make the big downloads when I go back to parent's home
But yeah I'm aware of the common slow internet in Malaysia especially in Semenyih which is middle of no where.

thanks guys. I will do some research on Yes4g and others before getting it. Digi also has a sweet deal compared to others with a decent coverage area in Semenyih.
PS: I hope there are some social events that UNMC students have with drinks involved. (good stress reliever) I remember when I asked one of UNMC officers about social events and she said "we have bowling." loool
