My agent and I kept on emailing/calling the University and every time we get the same reply "We'll get back to you in two days." 
I'm calling them again tomorrow

I had a meeting with my agent yesterday, alongside other freshers. We'll be travelling in a group 
Anyhoo, the accommodation lady said the same thing to us, except our agent is pushing her to inform us before the University closes for Hari Raya holidays.

Apparently, and I quote, "the staff member that was supposed to process your accommodation application has resigned, and your application got handed to another staff member, and therefore delayed."

Hello guys, my semester commences on September, looking forward to meet you guys next time.

However, there is something I must ask here. Any of you are already year 2 or year 3? I wanna ask when did you start applying for accommodation during your year 1. I got my offer on 19th Aug, a Friday and immediately submitted my accommodation form on the next working day - 22th Aug. Today, they sent me an email, stating that they have allocated a Four Shared bathroom for me. I don't want it at all.

Any how I can appeal for it? I wished for any single room. ANY will do. 

Seriously? The management is seriously, bloody hell.  What kind of room you wish to get?

Guys, any feedback on TTS5?  Are the ground floor rooms OK?  My friend was offered a Type A room for RM620 a month.

When will you be arriving in Malaysia?  I'll be on campus on the 15th, exactly one week from now.

If you check YES 4G online coverage map, we are indeed covered. Whether it's strong, you should pray there's people here who subscribe to that service. Is there a trial period for you?

Full bar all around campus, sometimes 4/5 in the accommodation block near SA. Not sure about those further at the back. Coz I don't walk around with my laptop and the dongle heh.

I think you can just pay like 1/2 of the 1st semester fee, only that they will still urge you to pay by notifying you via emails (read annoying spam).
And yes, you do not need to pay anything else, not like other institutions with hidden fee. If you are doing a science-based course, you may need to purchase lab coat and goggle for your lab session though.

I think it's about 20 hours per week, inclusive of tutorials.
