Now need to start goreng p4 and p7.All sounds so freaking hard  sad.gif

P7 is quite easy, imagine someone who does not know/quote ISA in exam also can pass. the key term is time management. my time management was not that good when i chose Q3 instead of Q4 in Dec 11 sitting. I had to read 3 parts of scenarios (time wasting) instead of Q4 just 1 scenario.

bro, don't give up! This is ACCA. It is a professional exam. It not only test knowledge but also test our patience, determination and stamina. And do like what nothingz recommended, get your lecturer to review your answers. Sometimes we need another person to show us our weaknesses because we cannot see them, if we can see, we wouldn't have made those mistakes in the first place.

Never give up ok?  We all can conquer ACCA exams. Cheer up and Jia you!

compare P7 with P5, P7 is more direct, easier to answer compare with P5 which is more theoretical now

Paper Details: F8 INT Aud. & Ass.
Result: Pass
Mark: 63
Paper Details: P2 INT Corp. Rep.
Result: Pass
Mark: 71
Paper Details: P3 Bus. Ana.
Result: Pass
Mark: 82

Never thought I would have done that good for P3, I thought I would have only passed marginally - or worst, failed!
And F8 was a real hard paper for me, though everyone was saying it's easy. The only 60+ in my ACCA exams so far.

may i know where u study at for ur P3???

I pass p2 and p6, fail p3.

I think some ask about p6 stuff.
I solely rely on my lecturer's notes. I didnt use Choong Kwai Fatt's textbook. My lecturer told me that there is no suitable textbook for p6.
Plus, p6 subject is always subject to changes. I'm afraid my notes is not up-to-date. I still intend to keep it.
Btw, i only manage to pass p6 on the second attempt...with 62 marks.

How to study p3?
Last time, i actually gave up on p3 over a month before exam.

And what other optional paper should i take apart from p6?
how's p5? is it more or less like p3?

my aunt finished her masters and did her ACCA after that.. she still had to go through the pains of audit for the first couple of years before she found a place in bank negara.. that is if u wanna do audit also la. Anyway, her pay is RM7k in BN i think.. the other day she showed me her bonus it was about RM64k sweat.gif

now shes scheduled to move to UK under Bank Negara. Don't know if her masters had anything to do with that sweat.gif
but still, having Masters.. feels good if you have the chance to do so smile.gif

Took p4 and p6, passed both.

I would definitely recommend P4 if you can understand the key concepts and you don't like to memorise stuff. There are only a few key concepts to remember and you need to be able to link them well and use all of them. In addition to that, you need to have good business sense (being good at talking cock), and you're set for P4 !

The thing about the P6 examiner is that she's a bit weird. The questions from last sitting were quite general imo. For the whole paper , there wasn't much calculations, probably about 80% was writing. You need to grasp the theories behind taxation quite well. After seeing the questions, i thought the answers would be complicated, but they were simpler than i thought.

For P3, what I did was to make sure I know all the models really well. And then to practise as many questions as possible, get your lecturer to mark them if you have one. Or else, mark them on your own with reference to marking scheme (which shows marks allocation) and answers given. Don't memorise the answers, it does not help because every question is different.

Please don't give up.

I think, for the P papers, besides studying/preparation, we have to write with close reference to the case scenario given. However, it is easier to be said then done, I spent a great deal of effort in preparing for my P3. But my heart for throbbing so fast in the exam hall, words were jumping up and down on the question papers, I found it hard to calm myself down no matter how hard i tried.
