hey guys. i already finished all my papers. just a few tips.

I always study using exam kits and at the end of every exam kit there are sets of mock exams that you can do.

believe me, already come out so many times questions from those mock exams in finals. be it p2, p3, p5, etc confirm come out.. .so please dun forget to do your mock exams.

You must also consider the gap between papers la.. I last time did P123 all back to back really want to die one T_T ... Some employers, I know Big4 give study leave.. I've heard those for 1 week per paper. but if back to back, dunno la how.. I think if 2 papers with gap at least 4-5 days can la take 2 and work full time.

But seriously, if can avoid working first, please la do that. many people really AMBITIOUS want to do everything end up with NOTHING. P papers no joke man.. In fact, if pass all your gaji up a bit maaa...


im from uitm. they dont really care what student u are, as long as u have student card, just go office can claim


To me, 3 papers depend la gap. if back to back, DIE. but usually la, we should always play safe take 2 per sem okay la..

May i know which employer does actually give that RM150 diff in salary? Quite interested~

Opportunity cost might be big, but paper fail cost is BIGGER la in my opinion. I mean, lets not risk it laa..

It has always been that way all the time.. even after the change... from 123 to 321..

believe me.. studying all these 3 in a row is sakit kepala

I'd definitely recommend a 3 day shift for each paper when studying, otherwise... YOU CAN LUPA ONE

alaa.. just do ALL questions INCLUDING the MOCK exam ones from BPP exam kit... sure kena onee...

P5 last seating keluar soalan sebijik.. and that wasn't the first time.. on pyramid model.. and also on maximax minimax..

I studied P papers in a month before start first paper. each day study minimum 12 hours, one day make sure do 15-20 questions from exam kit/past years..

when sit for exam, waaa.. this one i know liao XD

but one enemy for the know-all person is TIME LIMIT. u just wanna write everything you know.. end up no time for other questions.. jaga timing~

Hi. That is the problem with scholarships. Not many scholarship givers are to keen about giving scholarships to people pursuing ACCA. either that or they don't acknowledge or they just don't know about ACCA. I remembered one time I asked for scholarship from a certain place and they told me ACCA is SIJIL ONLY, implying theres not much worth in it.

But still, sometimes you gotta tell them yourself of your intention of doing ACCA. I think theres not much problem to Maybank as long as you are applying something that relates to accounting. Whatever it is, just send in your application and if you were chosen for interview, just say that you want to do ACCA. Another scholarship giver where I went for iv with sampai siap offer me to do bachelor and then sambung ACCA, although there wasn't anything stated about scholarship for ACCA.

my point is, it doesn't hurt to try

if u ask me, all papers can self study... sometimes go to class also either focus real hard and end up forgetting everything in the next few months.. or worst, which is the actual norm, go to class, dying to go back, tahan mengantok, etc..no input XD

cuba la.. becoz acca program is consider external, although there are no non-bumi full time student, maybe thats not the case for non? juz try la.. part time only maa

no such thing IMHO. because you self-study, they will simply say becoz you don't have any tuition fees (which accounts for THE major part of studying expenses), then you don't need much money. I'm willing to bet there are none.

aiyaaa why u go check so early wan?? its like past year paper for dec 2011 keluar already and then go check answer.. see now i also takut takut already... only one thing that could make me feel a bit better..

i heard papers for december are a lot more merciful when it comes to marks. because christmas is near and people are emotional about christmas to the point it affects their answers so examiners assume a much more merciful stance in marking.. however, thats just a pretty lame excuse for myself, and a few other friends of mine who would LOVE to think of it that way..

if wan interesting must be answers like sth examiners dont expect you to write la i think.. ya know, like think out of the box, out of syllabus kinda stuff.. we always come up with those kind of answers when we goreng2 ya know.. try to find some logical reasonable answers which cannot find in text books.. those kind of stuff.. or maybe add in a bit of general knowledge like recession ka, etc..

but why talk about this NOW? tunggu result lah! if i had to rant as well it would be for work. I only hav acca and nothing else, if i screw this one up... my butt konfem really hurt one susah la carik keje ini mcm

I sat 2nd time p2 already.. id say first round my biggest mistake was, ignoring theory questions, like standards.. i went like an f7 method, juz dooo all calculation (consol+ group + cashflow) and theory skit2 i goreng2 only.. habis hancur that p2 paper..

however, 2nd seating which i just sat, i prepare myself already... u know come out calculation really little, account for 30 marks only (asuming u ignore the optional Q2 full of calculations!) and the rest represent theoretical answering!

I'd say, ur lecturer can simply say ur answer boring and all, because he got too much high expectation. If u wan to really impress everybody, take your whole time and answer with a 5 hour worth of answers la. where got that kind of time in exam??

we need to be precise and straight to the point. if got factual come from textbook answers, u settle that first la. wanna add some more can but make sure u already settle all other questions la, then you'll find out you have about 40mins extra!

unless you going for world prize... ehem.. please ignore my rant..

like, you got the results sent, but you just don't wanna open it...

that whole day is gonna pass like seconds and before you know it its already time to witness the truth...

if im not mistaken, i saw that the time limit to pay is 3 months from the date it becomes due payable, which is 1st jan

however, before i read that, i thought there was only a month time limit.

haven't heard of any form of penalties, but your membership will be revoked~
