I agree with noonies_naruto here. You don't have to go that far to answer the question. Furthermore, such questions are more towards CAT level. F8 and P7 doesn't touch on such basic things even though it's the basics that I don't really understand....  rclxm9.gif

LOL like I said, I am not using it for my studies.
I need it because I am currently helping a friend to check on an account for a company that he wants to acquire.

Would appreciate if anyone have it smile.gif

On the other hand I have seen quite a lot of Sunway chics dress up like a model....Sunway has become an icon for fashion show overtaking Milan & Paris. At the end who benefits?...those buayas like you & me lar.

Yes, there is a page which asks you for your handphone number.

First, log in to MyACCA,

Click on "Exam status and results"

Click on "Consent Level"

Update your contact point> key in your Mobile Phone number,

then at the bottom of the page, tick the box for

" I would like to receive notification of my results by SMS text message. If you choose this option you will no longer
receive your results via email."

For that reason, i did not choose the sms option because i prefer email notification. smile.gif

A question.

For money pumped in by shareholders in a private limited company, will it disclosed in share capital, or amount owing to Directors?

Alright, let me rephrase the question.

The two shareholders just open up a new company.

They both agree to pump in RM50k each, consisting of 50,000shares of RM1/share.

Question;
Does the money be dislcosed in share capital,
or amount owing to director?

Okay, then let us assume that the money was used to buy machinery.
What will be the accounting entries?

First;

Dr Bank
Cr Share Capital

Then;
Dr Machinery
CR Bank

Am I right?

imho it should be like this
assuming cash pumped in and straight purchase
unless really put into bank then only withdraw to purchase

bank (watever left from purchase)
machinery
share capital

since it's not normal purchase during course of business...

the share capital is ur pay up capital... u must cek in u memoranda of association..
most company pay up only rm 2....

so the pum in 50k is amaun owe director...

sry I really don't understand wad u mean

u can write in malay I can read it

he mentioned that

the shareholders each paid RM50k for 50k shares

therefore should be no issue of unpaid share capital

if solely based on his questions

p/s: I've consulted my fren who is very brilliant. and her comment is technically I'm correct but practically (in real life) muppet you are right

she is currently working in E&Y so I guess her answer should be pretty reliable

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

p/s: next time if u guys wan ask questions pls write in full detail...pls dun rephrase in later stage it's hard for people to understand what you want to ask when the context can be changed totally when u leave out certain details
