sry I really don't understand wad u mean

u can write in malay I can read it

he mentioned that

the shareholders each paid RM50k for 50k shares

therefore should be no issue of unpaid share capital

if solely based on his questions

p/s: I've consulted my fren who is very brilliant. and her comment is technically I'm correct but practically (in real life) muppet you are right

she is currently working in E&Y so I guess her answer should be pretty reliable

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

p/s: next time if u guys wan ask questions pls write in full detail...pls dun rephrase in later stage it's hard for people to understand what you want to ask when the context can be changed totally when u leave out certain details

different from what i know..
from an auditor's perspective, if no bank statement is provided, it will be treated as amount due from directors because some people create dormant companies and issue a huge sum of share capital.. after banking in the money, they will photostat the amount in the bank book and withdraw the money.. photostatted bank book cannot be used as evidence, only genuine bank statement is reliable..
I'm a bit confused bout this part too

hence i said technically I'm right for education purpose

in real life practise...it's much more complicated than wad we learn.

but to the extend of details given by the guy who asked this question

I can only say it's share capital rather than amount owing to director

should we look things from accountant's angle or auditor?

but then if it's real life scenario, we wouldn't really be fit to answer for him

since this is just a educational section for students

1 hour difference only...aiya... no need make a fuss for it

get early - good result - happiness lasts longer
- bad result - disappointment ends earlier

get late - good result - happiness doubled as anxiousness cleared
- bad result - double disappointment laugh.gif

if say, u have no other choice but to take 3, go n check time table.. min 3-2 days gap not so bad..

I'd say 2 months before finals you have to put your heart into it.. do lots of questions especially past years because similar questions tend to roll again and again. and believe me, they really do. well, doesn't mean you can ignore your textbook.. still read laa..

I did past years for each of those papers for 3-5 rounds.. until everything get 'stuck' in my head.. get the pattern set..

F7: do lots of practice for consolidated accounts, cash flow, and those SOFP + SOCI.. these almost ALWAYS appear.. the 2 other questions must be touching on IASs. so read up on that. I remembered that i did a question on contract cost and the exact same pattern came out, so i find myself not needing to think hard on that and just put the numbers on place. exercises help.

F8: almost always, they will ask on assertions, so know your assertions for completeness, existence, valuation, cut off, etc and your substantive tests, recalculation, analytical procedures, vouching, tracing, inquiry, observation etc
and then got internal controls where u gotta comment and recommend improvement. and theres also question on ethics (audit threats)... u gotta cover the accounting cycles wages, nca, payables, receivables etc

F9: famous questions is on investment appraisal, so do the NPV table kinda questions lots of times. u usually need to carry out WACC calculations to calculate cost of capital, so master those kinda questions. foreign exchange also quite famous, so master those terms spot rate, average rate etc. dont forget how to account for inflation as well.

you must make time at least the last month before finals, and just continue on doing questions everyday. i'd recommend 3 days shift between the papers and not studying like a week for one paper, and then continue for another week for a diff. if like that, you'll find out at the end of the study period, u already forgot the earlier ones u studied.

hope it helps!

Hie all. Would like to ask for opinion on P4.
Currently I am choosing my last paper , which is between P4 and P5 but i find P4 more challenging so I would like to try though many warned me,
I would like to ask which lecturers r good in P4, would like to attend part time classes,, preferable smaller classes where lecturer can concentrate more on students. TKS!!

waaa... never found someone so brave like you..

but i must say, P4 does have its advantages.. I'd say they shine a lot in banks particularly investment.

goodluck..

just so you know, P5 usually have highest passing rate among the Ps.. at least some time last year, it happened tongue.gif
