Nolaaa. What he meant was, if your body gets scratched, the scratch will be more visible on a black coloured body compared to a White or silver one.
All 3 colours are prone to scratches.

QUOTE(idoblu @ Oct 8 2011, 04:32 PM) Was at KLPF, no Nex-7 on display so I asked one of them and got a stupid answer - they say not in production yet. I said yeah, look at Nikon got show their V and J camera. Fuji got show their X10, why you all cannot bring in one sample Nex-7 to show people? Asked for SEL30M35 also dont have..... that's because the final firmware for NEX 7 is not yet out..

QUOTE(vailance @ Oct 8 2011, 11:28 PM) is it true that the new adapter la-ea2 wont work on older nex3/nex5? read somewhere says its going to work if firmware is updated. so far no news on the new adapter firmware and booked my la-ea2 adapter at sony booth mv yesterday. they told me by end of next week should able to collect at their shop @ 2nd floor. Stock currently hold at Sony Malaysia. Not sure its true. Yes unfortunately it's true to your first statement.

QUOTE(mastering89 @ Oct 9 2011, 12:41 AM) non motor lens (non SAM/SSM/HSM/USD) is the one using only screw drive ... i tot the LA-EA2 can use those screw drive ones ignore my statement. if can screw drive means can AF.

QUOTE(idoblu @ Oct 10 2011, 06:11 AM) No need to preorder. I don't think this camera will fly off the shelf with this kind of price Well if you check amazon rankings this camera is consistently in the top 10 even when nobody has actually touched it.

Well I don't think the nex 7 is sony's main point of income anyway... But the camera is not even shipping yet so I shall reserve further comments.

QUOTE(nlik @ Oct 16 2011, 12:49 AM) Hmm.. I see now, 1 reason why some DSLR users move away from the NEX.. It's because NEX-3/5 can't easily trigger external flash units. There are some workarounds, i don't even know if they sell those stuff in shops here. Adding more insult to NEX, it has a preflash that would trigger external flashes before the actual NEX flash fires. The shutter not open yet with the preflash, but the external flash would have already fired. Wifi, wireless trigger would be the best. would be awesome if someone built a real Alpha equivalent Hot-Shoe for the Nex accessory port. It has already happened. It's called NEX 7.

QUOTE(nlik @ Oct 16 2011, 11:22 AM) Der.. everyone here probably knows it. But that doesn't help the existing 3/5 users. Got a blog that attached a light trigger that was attached to a wireless transmitter, finally the 2 parts attached on the NEX flash... hmm.. The NEX werent actually targeted for studio photographers anyway when it was first launched... That is why the NEX 7 came.

QUOTE(porkchop @ Oct 17 2011, 01:37 PM) yup only EA2 got pdaf, but cdaf also usable ma, just slow only.... anyway back to question do u think a 30mm f3.5 e mount or 30mm f2.8 a mount + ea1 adapter which would be better? leaving price out of the decision/equation?? E mount ddefinitely. The autofocus is muh more silent as well.
