Only thing lacking from the NEX 7 is the SSS. If Sony can fit the mechanism in I am sure they can fit in a full frame sensor as well. Exciting times ahead.

Nola with SSS now you can have over 1000 choices of stabilised legacy and current lenses liao. An if full frame comes out Leica can close shop d.
OSS is only useful for video IMO. I doubt people will put a 300mm lens on a NEX though. |

QUOTE(RX-78-2 @ Oct 22 2011, 04:23 PM) If its within the size of a M9p I'm sure people can accept it..QUOTE(0168257061 @ Oct 23 2011, 09:15 AM) Oh, im confused thought he is using NON-A mount to mount via adapter. How can you mount non A mount on the adapter in the first place anyway?just realised he is using the LA-E2 I think you meant nOn Sony lens. |

QUOTE(nlik @ Oct 25 2011, 11:39 PM) Yes yes, the DT 16-50mm. The zoom and focus rings are very tight though, hard to turn them. Oh no wonder. The a77 should be lighter than d7000 if you compare body only. I maybe wrong didn memorise their weights. Not everyday you get to test out a RM6k camera.. phew.. very slight delay on the EVF reacting to your eyes. I wonder if your thumb could swipe at the evf, before your eye reaches it to workaorund the delay??. I didn't try that as i just thought of it. The camera itself is about 4k only la. you could turn off the live view on LCD screen totally. With that u can cut down the lag time significantly. |

QUOTE(tomzfm @ Oct 27 2011, 08:39 AM) Bro, I tell u wad ~ at first I was thought that the "clicking noise" issues is extremely problem to me after I watched those YouTube video tested from the 5N user where they shaking their device while recording video. Look, after I test it and guess what? The sound that we hear just like flies flying beside u , not the real sound like "liquid paper shaking sound alike" , the "liquid paper shaking sound alike which recorded output the video "if u shake it like hell when recording video" , other than that I would say it's fairly fine to me . You will only get the noise when you record videos in a toilet where walls are all enclosed and the amplification of sounds are greater in confined areas. * pls correct me if I'm wrong Having said that, maybe those people's video recording technique is different from us. Have to hake shake and shakeeeee. |

QUOTE(axii @ Nov 2 2011, 01:42 AM) Ah, thanks for clearing that up. The AF speed of the 18-200 will be quite slow as well but if you. An live with it then it's all good.Basically with the 18200, you never need to change lenses. That's the ease of use part. It's got excellent image quality as well, and video with it is great (it was made intentionally for video, Active OSS). You wouldn't need the 1855 as it covers that range, and some would argue that 18mm focal length is enough for wide angle shots. If zoom is an issue for you, and budget isn't, go for it. The only drawback I see with the SEL18200 is size. Don't know about the zoom bundle, there has been no news. Previously there was a rumor, but... *silence* You can also purchase the NEX-5N body only, and buy the SEL18200 separately. But body only is very hard to find it seems. It's worth taking a look around Sg. Wang and Lowyat. |

Seems like the NEX 7 sensor has no micro lenses. Pity.

That's because there are quite a lot of RF lens owners in the past...but can't afford the M9P and doesn't feel the necessity to dump such a huge amount of money into a camera...that's where the NEX system comes in...
furthermore RF lenses are quite compact compared to DSLR lenses... |
