anyone selling their external optical viewfinder@FDA-SV1?

not sure, probably next year
for 35mm prime, there's few cheaper options. either u get the toy cctv 35mm f/1.7 for rm2xx , or a m42 lens + adapter for probably less than rm500 or get the Sal35mm f/1.8 + adapter for about rm9xx.

any1 here own the ECM-SST1 (mic for NEX), any comments??
is it as good as the Rode mic for dslr?

i think i might be the minority which actually likes the loud shutter sound of nex,i wish they maintained that in all upcoming nex,it makes them more camera like in this digital age
but i echoes your other complaint,thats why i pour down a huge hope on nex-7
also on the upside your system now is completely immuned to back/front focus of phase detection AF of DSLR

Oh yes the sound it produces during panorama shot is aweesomeeeeeee

1. thats strange, my Nex-C3 can AE lock. Tried Spot Metering, can lock

2. Auto ISO - it only goes up to 1600 so I dont see any point in setting a limit. It was useful for me when I had the LX3 that I can set the limit to 800 as I do not want it to cross over. But with the Nex high ISO capability I dont see any point. Infact it should go higher than 1600 on Auto ISO.

4. I have to agree with this one. At first I do like the sound, makes it more DSLR like as others have pointed out but after using the X100 which is almost silent, a quieter shutter does helps in street photography

5. Dont need more direct mode buttons. Im quite comfortable with all the Customs mode available now

Is 16mm lense is good? or it is better to take the 18-55mm?

you guys ever encounter Memory Card Error message on your Nex? Mine happened today. Its the same card I was using as before with no problems. Then today it gave me the message like 3-4 times. Each time I had to power off and re-insert the card to make it work again.

I did see two blank shots inside the memory after that.

Nex-C3 reviewed by a Leica M9 user. Great read and some lovely pictures taken with M mount legacy lenses
