got myself this while travel to Bandung been looking for leather bag or something like NatGeo or billingham like but can only find this. if only it has the natgeo color. but fill with the inside case (bought last time) works nicely also got myself a m42-nex adapter, got to play wiv jupiter 200 f4 with the High Contrast BW effect ![]() *it seems the peeking mode is good for wider angle , when at 200mm i can barely see the coloured lines This post has been edited by mastering89: Jul 7 2011, 12:42 AM |

QUOTE(Ck1976 @ Jul 30 2011, 10:36 AM) Hi All Experts, both are compact-ish, similar but yet different in many ways. hard to say which is better, more to own preference. Just wanna to ask you all opinion ,given a choice Nex 5 vs GF 3 which one will you choose ? Btw nex 5 is $100 more exspensive than GF3. Use for family and sometimes vacations camera. Thanks for me i own a Nex 3, great but i wish to have the micro 4/3 many2 lenses and accesories . limited lenses & accesories for now but still good enuf for me and another thing, no remote shutter (non ir/wireless) for nex to play bulb long shutter mode try look at here (http://snapsort.com/compare/Panasonic-GF3-vs-Sony_Alpha_NEX-5) very good site, compare by specs and not biased spam some from my nex3 at the Malaysia vs Singapore last thursday pair with pancake and sal35 f1.8 #1 fans & crowd ![]() #2 ![]() #3 loud ![]() #4 desperate for view ![]() |

QUOTE(fyrogenesis @ Jul 30 2011, 02:12 PM) allo bro. how do you make them so sharp and lively?? i am using nex-3 with kit lens... and many of them look trash. erm, with the sel16f2.8 i just set small aperture and snap. should get enuf dof for entire pic and f/5.6 and smaller is quite sharp already. i actually prefer skill tweaking, than changing gears/lenses... so please advise on how to shoot. oh, and i also went there for the 'big cats' match. with the sal35f/1.8 or manual lenses needs practice, patience and prefer subject that doesn't move much also plan/expect what u want to shoot first, like for instance i went to the stadium i know i wont be taking pics of the players (no long2 tele/prime). So that would help u to know what lens to use , which is suitable and wont waste time changing lens (bagi masuk habuk saja =X ). actually i came in quite late, so dont have proper seats (stand at the corridor only QUOTE(RX-78-2 @ Jul 30 2011, 10:58 PM) NEX5 can use with IR Remote, but not NEX3. true, but still the bulb mode without a remote shutter is sorry to say quite useless Can use with the china make IR remote which is cheaper and simpler than the ori Sony alpha remote. NEX can be used with most of the lenses by attached to adapter. Pls read through the threads u will see many users using diff lenses!! yup many2 adapter to many2 mount lenses spam 1 kucing pic from that Nasi Lemak Wak Manjor,Kg Baru KL ![]() shot with sal35f/1.8 , MF FTW |

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Aug 2 2011, 10:29 PM) Oh come on... you haven't watched the original? i love the 2nd one, eventho tak paham the lyric, the MV storyline is really ohsem.. Bask in the awesomeness of the original NEX-3 advert And the uber super duper product placement in the song's MV I think reposted 10x di *not like most MV which dunno what crap, no relations to the song at all |

QUOTE(nlik @ Aug 20 2011, 04:20 PM) Can Malaysian's enter this? Or just for US citizens? i think should be Anyway, thanks for highlighting this. This is first time I am seeing this SLR Magic 28mm 2.8 and I am very tempted to get it if it's in the Nikkor 50mm 1.8 price range. the cheapest i saw at ebay for the slr magic 28mm f2.8 is about rm5xx if it is around that price, better i find good2 m42 lenses or the minolta 28mm f2.8 cost about the same |

QUOTE(0168257061 @ Aug 20 2011, 09:46 PM) not sure, probably next year for 35mm prime, there's few cheaper options. either u get the toy cctv 35mm f/1.7 for rm2xx , or a m42 lens + adapter for probably less than rm500 or get the Sal35mm f/1.8 + adapter for about rm9xx. any1 here own the ECM-SST1 (mic for NEX), any comments?? is it as good as the Rode mic for dslr? |
