got myself this while travel to Bandung
been looking for leather bag or something like NatGeo or billingham like but can only find this. if only it has the natgeo color.
but fill with the inside case (bought last time) works nicely



also got myself a m42-nex adapter, got to play wiv jupiter 200 f4
with the High Contrast BW effect


*it seems the peeking mode is good for wider angle , when at 200mm i can barely see the coloured lines

both are compact-ish, similar but yet different in many ways. hard to say which is better, more to own preference.
for me i own a Nex 3, great but i wish to have the micro 4/3 many2 lenses and accesories . limited lenses & accesories for now but still good enuf for me
and another thing, no remote shutter (non ir/wireless) for nex to play bulb long shutter mode

erm, with the sel16f2.8 i just set small aperture and snap. should get enuf dof for entire pic and f/5.6 and smaller is quite sharp already.
with the sal35f/1.8 or manual lenses needs practice,patience and prefer subject that doesn't move much

also plan/expect what u want to shoot first, like for instance i went to the stadium i know i wont be taking pics of the players (no long2 tele/prime). So that would help u to know what lens to use , which is suitable and wont waste time changing lens (bagi masuk habuk saja =X ). actually i came in quite late, so dont have proper seats (stand at the corridor only ) ,also my view of the game is in the pic #2, half blocked by the banner , so look around for something to snap.

true, but still the bulb mode without a remote shutter is sorry to say quite useless
yup many2 adapter to many2 mount lenses (would love to try the canon L and leica/voigtlander on my nex ) but what i meant is E mount lenses. Still for now only have 3 plus few coming, hoping for 3rd party makers to cepat2 make

the cheapest i saw at ebay for the slr magic 28mm f2.8 is about rm5xx , dunno if some1 bulk buy could get cheaper o not...
if it is around that price, better i find good2 m42 lenses or the minolta 28mm f2.8 cost about the same

iinm difference is only the video recording thingy, nex5 can use wireless ir trigger and choice in body color

there's a 25mm f/1.4 toy lens or wait for the Zeiss 24 f1.7

not sure, probably next year
for 35mm prime, there's few cheaper options. either u get the toy cctv 35mm f/1.7 for rm2xx , or a m42 lens + adapter for probably less than rm500 or get the Sal35mm f/1.8 + adapter for about rm9xx.

any1 here own the ECM-SST1 (mic for NEX), any comments??
is it as good as the Rode mic for dslr?

better if sony could make this 1 could trigger the normal alpha flashes

the new LA-EA adapter looks promising too
cant Sony collaborate with other major brands to make adapter to their mounts with AF

nowadays most (or all??) sony products manufactured in Thailand , probably thats why we get cepat
anyways, NEX-5N FTW , the external EVF is gooding liao

wait for the LA-EA2
the Tamron SP90 for sony don have motor
last TT some1 tried the Sigma HSM lens on LA-EA1 and suprisingly it AF but not accurate and reallyyyy slowww
dunno if the Tamron USD lenses AF works on LA-EA1
so probably lenses with built in motor should work in the upcoming adapter
