Heat is subjective. period.
As what mentioned by Benny, if u think it's an issue, it's an issue.
Think otherwise and u'll live happily ever after.

yes, after prolonged usage of gps on the iphone also got overheating.
but during normal use like gaming also no overheating.

perhaps samseng overclock the processor but their design team lazy to consider for the additional heat?

Hi, anyone here know where I can read user review of Galaxy? Not review from tech site like Engadget, just review from normal user.

heat buildup is fast if you use phone long on gaming, gps and as a WiFi hotspot. same as my other androids
normal usage is ok. if anyone concerned about its thinness and heat get the bulkier phone many choices available. the sgs II is not a perfect phone. there is none in android.
there is only one and is Steve job iPhone quoting him " the best smartphone in the WORLD" so if you are looking for one get iPhone4 and be slave to Steve jobs

since u've considered the SP is gone, u may try 'wash' the SP and apply a bit with soap foam.then attach to the screen (just not to wet, just sprinkle of water).it'll be slippery and moving while u fix the SP to the screen.prepare some tissue to sap the water at the edge of the screen.remove the bubble like normal and let it dry momentarily.

this is what i did to 'salvage' my SP.btw...my hp not sgs2...just yet icon_rolleyes.gif

Well I better stay away from it.
I'm thinking to get this phone too. Currently cannot decide between this and Sensation. And I'm getting it for my gf, quite concern about the big size as well.

so for time being perhaps users must sit next to a fan or air con when expecting prolonged usage with sgs2.
and using iphone4 is not being a 'slave' to any one.
more like steve jobs is our slave.

we are enjoying the inventions of his innovative mind.
since u've been a geek all ur life, surely u know that apple's leader position in the world now was achieved after years of failure and almost bankruptcy.

steve had learnt to give what users expect in a tech product and it was blockbuster after blockbuster after iPod.

i'm sure u remember the days of palm/pocketpc, handspring, kvpug, etc.
touch phones were nerds domain.

but after apple launched the legendary iphone, touch screen phones had hit the mainstream.
and of course every successful product will have its legion of copycats.

hmm, one of my female colleague is using sensation. not too bulky to her cz her palm size is quite big, but for me the sensation is quite heavy and hand tired for holding too long. jz my opinion smile.gif

better ask and understand what ur gf actually wants. just buying the hottest product (sales and also literally rclxs0.gif ) is quite risky.
usually big size phones doesn't look appropriate for ladies, unless she's a geek or a nerd like my ex-staff.

iphone 4 wld be perfect for most girls.
