Hi, anyone here know where I can read user review of Galaxy? Not review from tech site like Engadget, just review from normal user.

if you look at the garage sales and see how desperate he wants the phone, den u would know the another hidden side of the story blush.gif
*
Well I better stay away from it.
I'm thinking to get this phone too. Currently cannot decide between this and Sensation. And I'm getting it for my gf, quite concern about the big size as well.

thanks, will try it after work. btw the tissue wont leave those small "strings" on the sp?
hmm, one of my female colleague is using sensation. not too bulky to her cz her palm size is quite big, but for me the sensation is quite heavy and hand tired for holding too long. jz my opinion  smile.gif

Thanks for your info, appreciate it smile.gif

better ask and understand what ur gf actually wants. just buying the hottest product (sales and also literally rclxs0.gif ) is quite risky.
usually big size phones doesn't look appropriate for ladies, unless she's a geek or a nerd like my ex-staff.

iphone 4 wld be perfect for most girls.
*
Basically both phones in term of usability fit what my gf wants. Going to get her to play with both phone first to see if she'll be ok with the size.
I know what u mean about iphone for girls, but my gf doesnt fancy it. iphone is getting too corny these days.

recall 1 member said bought without memory card.

that's why i think its nice of new buyers can share their package details like $, what they got, freebies, etc... of course this is for the benefit of those who are planning to buy... at least then we know when we're getting a good deal. smile.gif
*
Yeah especially those who bought at garage sale, I'm quite skeptical how they can offer lower price. What's the catch?

that pink spot only appears in low-lighting condition. if u opt to use flash in those low-light conditions, the pink spot will disappear..
*
Ok thanks. Software issue then right? An update from Samsung should fix it.
Btw is Samsung good in giving updates?

yeap software issue, definitely not hardware, as only a number of users affected, not everyone..
regarding the issue of updates, Samsung is not the slowest to give updates(hello Motorola) but it definitely isnt the fastest laa
like SGS started with eclair, and now it has official(i think) Gingerbread
so hopefully, Samsung will do the same with SGS2 and whatever issues come around, i hope they'll release an update ASAP..huhu
*
Ok good to know that, thanks.

Could anyone be kind enough to upload a picture affected by the pink spot issue? Would really appreciate it.

How about this photo? If you can't see it, distance yourself from the LCD about 1 feet.

I think i see it. It's more like pink shades, right? I thought it's like pink dots, like pixel or something.

ya, i think i understand now... i was looking for a 'dot' or pixel... seems more like a patch...

guy73's post is even more obvious... in one of the photos, the pink patch is around at the sides. but confirm actual photo not affected, only what is displayed on screen, right? smile.gif
*
Eh? I think it does affect the actual photo, that's why we can still see it viewing from our PCs.
