May I know roughly what is the price for HTC Desire now? A guy from PDA Expert in Sunway Pyramid was trying to sell me this for 1299, original, he said. Worth it?

I guess ori would be around that price. Tho i think if you look around garage sales can get cheaper. If ap now i think 900 or less. Anyways if your budget is around that i recommend getting desire s or top up abit more nn get IS

why my desire got problem connecting to wifi which my wave and 5800 can do without any problem...
my desire only sometimes can connect....ratio of can connect to cannot connect is 1000:1....
i start to hate it cause android without internet is like a normal phone...pls help...

If you still on Froyo, I suggest that you upgrade to Gingerbread. Feel much snappier and better signal reception.

already try lower the belkin router wireless channel number? not even single number works?
is your stock rom, with root or without root?

Try to change the channel number. Work for me before on stock ROM.

Hi guys, new Desire user here

I have a question. How do I set to install new apps directly to SD instead of phone memory itself ? Pretty useless to have a huge external memory but when installing apps here and there and suddenly I'm in low space of memory. Can anyone guide me ? I'm using Android 2.2 btw.

Menu > Settings > Application > Manage Applications > (click on the app and click move to SD)

What if to those that cannot be moved ?

Some apps are not moveable. Maybe a rooted desire can do that. I'm not sure, mine still virgin unrooted

but i dunno how to change...
change using my laptop or the pc connected to the modem??

log in as admin, go WLAN and change the Channel there

If u want to installed apps directly into your SD card, no other way than root and install custom rom which support a2sd. Move app to SD is a temporary solution which in the end, you will still end up with insufficient space

Anyone on stock rom try the new 2.3 update..? Is it good..?

I just bought HTC desire HD and seems that there is a problem with the GPS.. Always says searching for GPS. Tried it for almost a week and only manage to use it once. I put it for like 10 minutes in my car and still searching for GPS. My friend using the same model could get the GPS while i cant. Any fix for this?
