Well... the same did happened to my Desire last time and the worst thing is that I cant even hear the caller's voice as the phone channeled the voice to the "invisible" earphone...

What I did was to find another compatible earphone and repeatedly inserting the conductor into the earphone jack. The technique worked well for me.... Why don't you have a try?

haha i am giving my sgs2 to my mum so i'll get my Desire back. Will use it alongside my One X. I am a complete HTC guy now, last time a Samsung guy cuz use SGS2 alongside Gnexus.

Using HTC really does feel at home. and Desire brings back so many memories. It helps me understand Android so much.

Want to ask, how long original battery last until need to buy new replacement battery?
charge once everyday, seldom play game , phone main facebook & call only.

is Sun Global replacement battery ok for Desire?

not sure. My Desire still standing strong after 2 years still good battery life. gaming, browsing, calling and texting. charge anytime needed.

Heya all,

Something bad happened !! i dropped my phone ytd and the home menu and back button could not work as usual. Had to press very hard in order to work.

I tried a few things actually, i was going to flash my rom again but the buttons could not work during recovery mode also. Thus, I cant flash my rom. So i guess it is most likely due to a hardware issue than a software one.

So my question is if anyone know anywhere to service htc desire phones ?? I prefer not go to HTC as i think they would charge alot for it. Just asking what are everyone's thoughts on this ??

Wow..Did you have any case on? I dropped my phone once but its still working fine after that..

Anyway, can just try walking in any phone shop..They should be able to help you service it or send it for servicing..

yeah but try finding a trustable one. cuz they might change your original working parts. mine dropped like i dont know how many times, and still working 100%. no case, and it even have dent. durable phone i would say.

same here, feel like holding the "new era 3310", can take quite a whoop-ass

yeah guys... i agree with you lol !! my desire drop number of times d and it was the last drop that caused me some problems. so i was wondering if you all know any trustworthy shop who knows how to repair it.. I think the parts must be hard to come by lol !!

actually i dont mind taking it apart myself if warranty already over saw the assembly video LOL but if found anything spoil dont have parts also lol how how any recomendations for shop ??

edit: no i dont have a case on.. was bored with cases and screen protector now it's in its birthday suit ! xD

What went wrong?? I root few times already also all no problems..

thinking of jump to iphone 5 year end... but not confirm yet coz still i like my android.
