Another question, is it safe to partition SD using Rom Manager? or use CWM 5 better? Cause someone in Xda forum claimed Rom Manager can brick the phone.
Thx.

QUOTE(ShinnKQ @ Oct 4 2011, 04:51 PM) You know most ROMs can directly let you boot into recovery? Like - Reboot, Boot into Bootloader, Boot into Recovery, Shutdown/Hot Restart etc... so you don't need ROM Manager at all. (Anyway it's crap now) Not sure if ROM manager uses Recovery to partition so Go try then Just shut down your phone.... go into bootloader...go HBOOT and Recovery. Do it from Recovery lah, because next time you need to use Recovery to flash and all sorts of shit, u can do from Recovery (of course with some exceptions compared to Fastboot)...Just go into Recovery click a few options and done la. *Oh dont forget to backup SD because will wipe before partition same as any other storage device* Didn't know that, now I know. Many thks,

Morning, just got myself on MIUI XJ GB 1.9.30 last nite & found battery drain ~ 10% in 6hr+ compare to 3% for official GB 2.3.3. Anyone know which one got better battery performance? kind of like MIUI though.

Another noob question, after partition my SD card with ext3 say for MIUI XJ A2SD flashing. I don't have to do anything to that SD partition before flashing other non A2SD rom right? Just the normal regular wipe will do right?

QUOTE(ShinnKQ @ Nov 6 2011, 02:53 PM) The version 1 week ago I don't think the rom would be >90% stable in 1 week, I'll probably wait until mid Nov before I try it again he kept updating for past 2 week until now v5 which many are quite happy with it, it is my everyday rom now.
