Mate,
5MP, 5MP and 5MP AGAIN.
Damn disappointing. :|
I might op for XiaoMi though
sigh, MP means nothing in photography, trust me.

I get the feeling I could repeat this a hundred times and people wouldn't listen, but here goes:
The number of megapixels on your camera phone does not matter.
Please, read that again. And again.
The limiting factor in your camera phone is the physical size of the sensor and the lens. You aren't going to resolve much good detail past 5 megapixels, AND you will start contributing heavily to noise by shrinking the photosites.
The new iPhone 4S camera is great, but it is not great because it is 8 megapixels. It is great because it's a high quality sensor and a nice lens. It is great in spite of it being 8 megapixels.
I have printed poster-size with a Nikon D2h. That was a 4 megapixels camera. Those were 4 very high quality megapixels with the right glass on the camera. Having more, lower quality pixels is not the right way to approach cameras.

Really? You're a photographer with "several DLSRs" and you think there's an advantage to packing more than 5 megapixels into a sensor that's probably somewhere around 1/8"?
I don't understand. What do you think the advantage is, here?
I mean, look at Canon's brand new, just announced, $7,000 flagship model. They dropped 3 megapixels off the 1Ds series even though they're using the same size sensor. Why? Well, sure, there are multiple reasons other than image quality, but the reality is they could not get away with doing this on their flagship pro model if megapixels were directly correlated with image quality.
There's a loose correlation but it assumes a lot of things, like a high quality sensor, excellent glass, good support, plenty of light...
As a fellow photographer, I'm always disappointed to see people involved in an industry propagating myths that we should really be working to dispel. Only once people are educated to the subject will the camera makers stop this ridiculous race to higher and higher megapixels, sacrificing image quality along the way.
seriously, if its not you.. the next person who mention 5MP camera sucks I'm gonna punch him in the face already. (just kidding

)
This "5MP camera" takes instant photos with 0 shutter lag and great image quality, don't even worry about it man.
but then again, a Nexus phone really just isn't for everyone. If you want to pass, that's fine, there will surely be better hardware coming soon.. but the point is megapixel isn't the only factor in taking good photos.
