juz flashed the new CM7r2 partition table from AlphaRev, but seems to be some problem...

since then i can't get my laptop to detect the SD card when i connect the phone and switch to mass storage mode...

it could be that i am having a faulty cable (the original HTC one), but i ve yet to test that... anyone has same issue?

phone brick? your laptop able to detect the phone correct in fastboot/recovery? how about enable USB storage in recovery? In recovery able to mount SD card? all these failed then is brick, else as you said, faulty cable? (low probably for original cable)

ermm... i never successfull on bricking my phone...
meaning... all software out there is freaking awesome and it is very safe..
only user never read carefully..

astria, just reflash back to stock, or you can try other rom..
just save your nand.

try switching off the debug mode in Applications->Development, it works for me.
Btw Astria, which file u download from the alpharev1.8 website? Pb99img or the download .img files? still not fully confidence to flash this hboot, mind giving me some guidance how change from stock hboot to cm7r2 hboot?

i flash the .img version, seems AlphaRev recommends this way... if u re not confident using adb, u can get a tool from XDA called "Fastboot Commander", it's a pretty fool proof program to flash things in Fastboot mode...

and as AlphaRev has emphasized, do a nandroid backup before u do anything...

just only flash to cm7r2 hboot using adb command, didnt expect its just within seconds only to flash this hboot.

Ya~~ AOSP is very dull = =" but it require much less RAM compare to a Sense ROM~~
but hor~~ I dunno how to install apps/what to install after I flashed a AOSP rom~~ ><

Lol AOSP is the ROM type.

Custom launcher is like ADW Launcher / Retisomething 3D / SPB 3D Shell / GO Launcher..

Go look them up in the Android Market.

AOSP dull? That's why I use custom launchers.

But then if I use MIUI I wouldn't need that but MIUI's stock launcher has some features missing (which MIUI users probably don't use anyway - e.g : Glide Up/Down do something)
But if I use other launchers then I don't really feel the need to use MIUI, but I really liked the battery line on top. Especially when charging

Depends on you lah, see what you like. I flashed A LOT OF TIMES. And the last time I did a nandroid was during the first month of flashmania+learning root
