It's not what you can call 'cheap' if it came from Toys'R'Us, but still, RM13.90 is not that big of a deal. at least these Entry Grades can be used as a bashing kit, or for display where it is 'vulnerable' laugh.gif

one thing for sure, it sure need a lot of painting/touch-ups.. maybe can be used as testbed for building up painting skills? hmm.gif

some tips to share.. rclxms.gif

if want to paint clear color using gundam marker, dont shake the pen before use... slowly apply on clear part and dont paint it too thick...it wont have clear effect if you do that
Attached Image
p/s: this is only work with Red color doh.gif
maybe metallic color will have same effect too but i dont have that colour to test

those who want to weathering the kit with cheap alternative can use only a can of matte top coat rclxms.gif
the trick is spray the kit on less sunny day(maybe on late afternoon) or low temperature
Attached Image Attached Image

^notice the whitish effect on the backpack? it is only use with a can of top coat... 2 in 1 use notworthy.gif
at least you dont need to waste the top coat twice when weathering laugh.gif

currently building my Acguy

if the by 'blue type' you mean the panel liner, I think it's oil based... and I don't think it'll come off easily only by using water sweat.gif

gundam marker remover can do the job, if the panel line is too deep to be reach by marker remover, drip a drop of alcohol/nail polisher remover or modelling thinner/leveling thinner then use cotton or tissue to wipe it
