*

Just placed an order for a Topre Realforce keyboard from Elitekeyboard.

It has been shipped earlier this morning. Will probably receive it next week.

I will compare this to the Filco brown switch keyboard I am using at work.

I shall find out once I get my keyboard next week.

They are abit louder from what i heard from users, unless you purchase the "Low Noise" version.
*
Oh ok.

There was only 3 options:

UB Black

UB White

and UB Black (55g) <= is this the silent version?

Nope, For additional knowledge for realforce, Normal Realforce Keyboard standard are multiple weight, ESC is 55g, WERSDFXCV are 45g, and there's 35/30g, and so on. lighter switch for your little finger and harder switch on thumb finger, it's a standard that optimize on human hand, for 55g, it is flat 55g, which means all switch will have the same actuation weight 55g.

Edited : Added Pictures

Below are one of the realforce standard key switch actuation layout.

Thanks for your explanation.

I look forward in receiving my Realforce keyboard next week.

Will post photos accordingly.

Just gotten my Realforce keyboard.

Much quieter than my Filco brown.

Feels like a linear keyboard, the bumps are not as noticeable as Filco brown.

have you gotten used to the thocking and clacking of the keys yet?

Only the backspace and enter keys are noticeable.

The rest are like membrane keyboard.

Almost silent.

My Topre Realforce keyboard arrived yesterday.

Here are some photos of it:

So far, I am very happy with the feel of the keyboard.

Feels like a cross between membrane and cherry brown switches. I can feel the tactile feedback. However, the tactile feedback is much smoother compared to cherry brown switches.

I might replace my office's Filco Brown with this.

For your knowledge, keyboard doesn't have any import duty at all.

Do you have stocks for Topre Realforce keyboards (full size black ones) ?

I am considering whether to get one to replace my Filco brown switch keyboard in the office.

no, i do not have stock for the moment, my next batch of keyboard arrival is at november, if you want, you can place a order with me, and it will be ship together with my next batch of keyboard, futher discussion please use pm, i don't want mod use aeroplane dogfight and shoot my ass.  tongue.gif  tongue.gif

anyway, my demo topre appears to be same model as the one you have right now, the keyboard are surprisingly good. i have to agree that the keyboard is indeed has a more "smooth" feeling then a brown. one thing i still haven't get comfortable with are the QAZ line, they are much more lighter as my finger are not getting use to it.
*
Ok, let's discuss in your sales thread.

Do you find the topre switches a lot quieter than the regular mech keyboards?

I do find it very enjoyable to type on.

if you guys have any kind of special request i can try to ask headquarter out to see if it's available.

Btw, i just finish cutting my finger nails to type topre keyboard, definitely more better, was feeling awkward with long feeling nails typing a topre keyboard.

Edited: Added.

Bottoming the Realforce keyboard doesn't have any kind of clacking sound.

Clacking sound is when you release the switches quickly
Bottoming out, and typing quickly you should hear Topre domes farting
That should be his Leopold in KBC PBT mix and match set
*
I couldn't get that sound either from typing quickly.

Taobao.. I can't read chinese sad.gif
I would prefer a new one though

How do I check their keyboard versions? They didn't even write it down lol

Well if I couldn't get a das, I would just get the filco instead. There isn't much difference right? Plus if I get Filco here, the warranty is active smile.gif

I just wanna get the das because it's the first mechanical keyboard I know through an online gamer lol
The only thing I don't like about it is the shiny material I guess.. finger printssssss
*
You have been using membrane all these while.

How about giving Topre Realforce keyboard a try?

Didn't know you were not using membrane.

What keyboard are you currently using?

Realforce 87U 55G Topre keyboard review and demo

I have the same feeling with reviewer.

Except that I would have compared it to a cherry brown switches (ie. my Filco Brown in office).

i have been using the Topre non stop for like 2 days.

The Keyboard is surprisingly good, as well as the typing feeling that it's given to me.

The Video above practically says it all, this is much more better than the Cherry MX Brown that i tried, the feeling is really smooth and tactile feedback is pleasant.

I think this would be my main keyboard now. Let's hunt some Topre Keycaps.... LOL
*
Is there any other Topre switch keyboards other than Real Force?

I am considering in getting another for work as my Filco brown kinda annoys my colleagues every now and then.
