I think your comments on ducky are base on older batch,
meanwhile there are so many units of Ducky keyboard sold over worldwide, only few claim have problem on older batch
*
But no distributor or reseller dare to post proper pics to correct me. I wonder why. Even my local distributor refuse to loan me a set to review...
So much for confidence in your product theory.

From all the press pictures, I still see this...

Personally, I'm not a Filco fanboy.
A QC flaw have been discovered on Filco tenkeyless recently.
It's now still being debated...

Well, if you really insist in playing this
let me tell you something,

Whenever got people discuss about Ducky keyboard over the net, over 80% chances that UNDARKEN, or SQUAREBOX will be putting the same "faulty" which you claimed.

i think i don't need to answer the question already. Singapore Disti already replied that at VR-zone already.

Most of the forumers around the world thinks you 鸡蛋里挑骨头 only. Why? they discussed about the claim and found it's a case of subjective. I remember one forumer said that it's a very silly act to accuse one product is bad quality because of you don't like that.

Common, you threaten Distributor/Dealers before, who wanted to loan to you?  Make some sense please rclxub.gif
*
I don't want some lazy half-ass explanation.
All I asking is a picture of newer Ducky keyboards but all Distro seem to refuse to post a close up.
Distro and reseller always over trying to protect their sales when clearly their product is flawed and rubbish.
Whereas I'm a consumer given honest feedback about the product.

Quit being angry at consumers given honest feedback. Rather you should feedback the problem and try to ask them them to fix it.

My reply was:

Not sure if serious...

I sure wouldn't want to end up like this whenever I use my 左手大拇指去剝開鍵帽(left thumb to remove the keycap).

Time to call the mad scientist for some crazy glue.

EDIT:
For key pullers, I would strongly recommend these pullers.

There's no follow up after that.

The answer u want is all over the net, it's just so easy too search but you really looks avoid to get the truth

Wow~wow wow~ Who is angry and who is being the "honest one" now?
Because of your perfectionism, you can't stand that kind of design. Then you call that a flaw, and accusing seller/disti are "devil"?

You threaten your seller to buy back your so called "faulty" keyboard. Didn't you?

Use your own brain to think. Which seller will buy back your stock, if the stock is being opened up and being tempered around before?

Also, Base on your continuously posting repeated negative information about Ducky around the net, however they not being bothered by other countries, but  will officials be so generous to provide what you need?

Our company do things base on precision and PROVEN evidence, i would be happy if you willing to let us to find out the problem and solve your issue. But you seems like didn't got my pm, or perhaps... Avoided?
*
Well, you dont see such bad QC on common brand such as Logitech whether it's high or low-end.
The main reason why people are buying Ducky, it's mainly because it's cheaper than Filco at the time Mechanical keyboard started becoming mainstream.
But now after the launch of many competitors, Ducky's quality is not worth it's price.

Don't be too quick to judge as I do alot of market research and know the actual costing of most these mechanical keyboard.
Most Distro are too stupid to do market research, lack passion and only care about profit. I'm not pointing any fingers but some people just point out themselves.

Asian Distro/Retailers still function in a very immature way and always trying the pin problems faced as consumer's fault.
Learn from more successful business like elitekeyboard or go and study in a business school. IMO, your business model sucks.

I have spoken to 2 Ducky distributors and talks to improve and feedback about Ducky have fallen to deaf ears.
People like you will never understand social media. Just take a look at what happen during your election. It happened here in Singapore too.

Consumer are getting smarter and more aware these days and less likely to fall into your kind of devious marketing.

Avoided PM? why do things behind closed doors?
Is it that hard to post a picture?

Problem solved. Ducky will never fixed so it's up to the consumer on whether they are willing to accept the quality for the amount they are paying off.
I guess ignorance is truly bliss.

Thanks to everyone who contributed.

@kaiserrech
OCN are flooded with Fanboys. Ducky will be the least of their problems.

Too small don't care.
I'm not gonna spend my time worrying about that offset when I am using the keyboard.

@squarebox,
Maybe you can look at the Mionix Zibal next, see if this is a Costar issue or a FILCO issue?
*
It's a Costar issue but it only affect Tenkeyless models.
104 keyboard from Costar dont have this problem.

I have compare the gap. I can still fit in keycap puller with a slight wiggle as the gap is just enough for the wired to go through.
Ducky on the other hand it nearly impossible to fit the puller in.

Only the G80-3494 are worth it.
The others such as G80-3000 are 2KRO.

Unless you dared to get the China-made G80-3496.

P.S Cherry keyboards are made in Germany or Czech Republic only.

PS: On the Ducky Quality Issue, in my opinion, if Ducky's price is neck to neck with Filco and with the alignment failure of the keys (the Esc seems to be the main issue here, and i would call it a failed alignment because based on what the distributor said about the "to enable users to pull the keycap without using the keypuller, then why would the unit owned by Sky.Live would align differently? His white Ducky's Esc position is towards the bottom left corner....) I would honestly get the Filco, because I would think "If it's price is almost the premium ones asked by Filco, why not get the Filco and have a peace of mind?  Well, but now that the issue regarding the arrow keys are floating here and there.... everything is still pending for speculation and explanation... laugh.gif  laugh.gif

In Malaysia:
Ducky 9008 is RM389
Filco is RM429

In Singapore:
Ducky 9008 is SGD169
Filco is SGD179
The difference is about SGD10. That is a small price to pay for a great quality increase.

The alignment issue only applies to 87 (tenkeyless) models.
104 models are not affected.

3496 are identical to whatever Cherries that are coming out of Cherry Corp's plant. It's just rebranded with special controller/firmware for the NKRO thing, and also the Logo.
*
3496 is basically the 3494 but now comes in more switches other than red and it's more expensive.
What I worry most is where it's made from...
China QC is generally rubbish when compared to Germany and Czech Republic.

For some reason, PCB-mounted feels a slightly nicer to type on.
I cant really describe the difference but it just feels nicer.
Possibly due to the overall height of the keyboard and keycaps.

The reply from Cherry distributor in Hong Kong said they are made in China.
We will only know the truth after someone review/dismantle one to compare.

I got my first mechanical keyboard because I felt that the Razer Arctosa and Alienware Tactx Keyboard was total rubbish. I felt that there has to be something better that all these typical keyboard and discovered mechanical keyboards.

And there goes all my $$$... but it's worth it.

No need to buy the stabilizer pins.
You can transfer the pins from your current keycaps
See video for more details. (keyboard used : Filco R)

Btw, is it plate-mounted or PCB mounted??? That one is a red backplate right? hmm.gif  hmm.gif  hmm.gif

Yes, Rosewill RK-9000 is red-plate-mounted like the Cooler Master Storm QuickFire which both are OEM from Costar.
Looks like all the companies are heading for Costar to OEM their keyboard.

Costar must be laughing all the banks.

The distributor is providing 3 years parts and labour. (seen in page 2 of the link above) whereas Rosewill themselves only provide 3 years parts and 1 year labour.

Ok.

Lastly you got the ''review set'' ducky you being waiting for years.

Time to dig out all the flaws it have? whistling.gif

It's not fair to say that. It definitely have some pros as well.

Some quick assessment:
- Real 5 levels of brightness (as compared to razer who claimed BWU has 5) - from dim to insanely bright
- 4 different mode of lighting
- Modifier use red LED (a nice feature) (the beauty of the colour combo is in the eye of the beholder) - I find neither ugly nor beautiful
- x1, x2, x3, x4 mode is pretty much a gimmick
- the overall height is too tall (as compared to most mechanical keyboard) - Lower is generally more comfortable. E.g Cherry is the lowest mechanical keyboard

As a mechanical keyboard it will still perform it's task but it's whether users find the QC/finish worth it's price is another thing.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" but fanboyism is another thing altogether...
