If you need hydravision, download and install CCC 11.5b.
My Catalyst is from Stock HP > CCC 11.5b > CCC 11.6.

For 6114TX and 6108TX user i suggest to rollback to HP driver if you have problem with AMD official driver. sweat.gif

ngkhanmein, you have a different graphic card? cause those who are using Radeon HD 6770M having the same CCC without those configuration options...

Hydravision can be installed separately if I'm not wrong... smile.gif

Yes, Goto AMD where you download CCC 11.6, there is an optional for you to download latest Hydravision.

hmm.gif I think i am also seeing the same thing as you guys..but not really a problem i think. cause i still can play HON and the 6770 kick in without even blinking the screen.. or maybe it just happened too fast.. sweat.gif

for the software and hardware tab.. I think is because theAcid upgraded from 11.5b to 11.6.. and we straight install 11.6?

reinstall the modded version to check the difference later..currently working.. haha..

Is there anyway for me to disable the AMD GPU permanently and only enable it back when I need to use it? I have tried to disable in the Device Manager, but after shut down and re-open my laptop the GPU back to AMD again when AC Adapter plugged in without battery.

Enable power play? There is a setting for plugged in and AC both set to maximum battery life?

I think is very tidous to change each and everyone of the setting to know which setting can change the GPU permanently but I think this can help a lot of people smile.gif

Did any of you see this webpage at hp site?
I did not know that we actually can buy a dv6-6114tx and 6108tx without the beats and other free stuff like what is promoted at the Music Matters LIVE promotion?

Had I known there is this thing, I think I would have taken this instead....

A reminder to all future DV6 buyer

I have enabled the Power Play. The main reason I wanna stick with the Intel GPU is because I don't want my palm rest get hots.

doh.gif i mean the setting for power play.. u set Batter and Plug-in settings both to maximum power saving.

Or just use power saving mode and adjust the brightness back to full?
Downside of power saving mode is that the core will not run at full speed. only clocked at 798MHz.
