The numbers are identical because the drivers are identical.....only the catalyst itself is newer, not the actual display driver. So it is safe to upgrade.

after installing 11.6 it asked me to reboot.
got stuck twice at the start up after rebboting then i went to the repair mode and it got stuck too lol.

nw ok though.

specs for DV6-6108TX seem pretty good.

the only problem is the display, is there anyway to upgrade it to 15.6" Diagonal High-Definition LED HP Brightview Display (1920 x 1080) instead of 15.6" Diagonal High-Definition LED HP Brightview Display (1366 x 768) ?

oh ya, i am apologize for some wrong input that i did yesterday,
i mention that we can notice screen bling or shake for few sec while graphic devices switching, in fact the devices switching are seamless.
i am apologize for the wrong input that i make and i will edit previous post for not to confuse people.

i admit and mention before, intel HD 3000 can run photoshop well, in fact photoshop are not really depend on GPU but CPU and ram...
the benefit running ps on HD6770m are little to no benefit, but the thing is they shouldn't decide for me right?
And also i understand HD6770m not really a professional card for 3d work, it just a gaming card after all,
may be in some opinion this dynamic switching are good enough if it able to switch or activate HD6770m when we playing game, but not for me..
actually the only thing that make me not happy is i cant really fully control on my GPU, other then that i like this laptop so much
No body can say a thing if i want to run a notepad with HD6770m correct or not, may be people can laugh or say i am stupid but they don't have any right to stopping me for doing that?


PS: most of the professional graphic tool are uses OPEN GL, hp shouldn't kill it because of the dynamic switching.

Lol..i updated my CCC to 11.6 without any problem and didnt get stuck..
But im curious y cannot download from CCC there through software update..

nope..sadly...sigh

yeah am gonna complain too later while formatting my win 7 to ultimate..

guys, issit safe to let my ac power plugged all the time? last time my asus laptop will have this "plugged in but not charging" on power icon.
