No need to do any backup if u're updating BIOS and display driver.

like acid said flashed bios 1st then only installed intel driver, at last amd 11.7!

hey guys, just making sure ive all the appropriate drivers updated..where do i download this amd catalyst 11.7 ? is it this one from here ? :

kinda confused as it lists down AMD Radeon Graphics Drivers -AMD Catalyst Application Profiles ...so is that the catalyst or is that the latest radeon 6770m driver? just making sure, thanks guys

Ooo... Just update those bios, display driver, intel driver and lastly amd 11.7...

But what about formatting laptop in the future?? How to reinstall the genuine windows??? I was told to do backup once I got the laptop just so I don't have to format... Darn... I feel stupid asking questions like these... Sorry to have wasted your time reading my post... I'll go through from the first page again on the faqs first...

I've put the direct link to 11.7 in the first page. Catalyst Application Profiles (CAP) is not a display driver, it just a profiles tailored to a specific games to get the best experience from it. Usually its for Crossfire configuration but sometime there is some fix for single card. Install or not is up to you. If you want to upgrade it to the latest CAP, make sure to remove the old one first.
