Finally you did it.

May I know which part of Perlis ~~~~

1. enable you capture these signals ? Please state location

2. near border ? Please state location

3. same frequency (Songkhla muxes) as I listed last time
*
Padang Besar. Yes, the same set of frequencies you listed last time. Signal not too strong, I had to find a position where signals would register. I was ussing the passive antenna that came with the TV stick

I have to re-rotate my roof top Yagi UHF antenna  vmad.gif

Just try scanning with the antenna in current position as it is. If that won't work, just get another. Tons of options at Tesco Lotus Sadao biggrin.gif

Taiping can receive from gunung keledang?
*
Taiping's local Tx is Bukit Larut. You stand a greater chance of receiving from Gunung Jerai with a fairly good (external, preferably) antenna

.....i use indoor antenna.

If you are trying to get signal from Gunung Jerai while Bukit Larut's is still not up, try using an external one if you can't seem to get anything

Nice to see another Thai DVB-T2 stb of yours, looks like you're comfortable with Thai built quality.
*
😀😁
Thai products not bad at all.

I've tested 7 different models of Thai STBs so far, from 4 different manufacturers - Aconatic, UCI, Samart and Compro. Samart is the best so far, though I like UCI's interface the best.

Is your Philips TV (as seen in picture) c/w built-in DVB-T2 tuner ? Among Philips. Samsung, Sony and Panasonic LED TV, which are worth to buy in your opinion ?
*
Nope. In fact that is not a TV at all. Just a normal 22" LCD computer monitor 😁

I haven't bought any digital TV set yet so I am unable to recommend anything 😊

Is the digital signal avaliable in Shah Alam area? My smart tv comes with dvb t2 tuner but auto & manual scan yield nothing
*
Shah Alam, Klang, Kuala Kubu, Semenyih, Kuala Lumpur and all should be able to get the signal coming from Gunung Ulu Kali. Do a manual scan of 666 or 698MHz, adjust until you get signal strength and quality of more than 40%

Play around with your antenna at the stated frequency. YOu will ge best results with an active antenna.

I am not sure about digital TVs, but for digital STBs at least, try to get an active antenna, either one that is externally powered or that which can be powered by the STB ("Antenna Power" set to ON in the STB setting)

I didnt use any external antenna as my smart TV comes with DVB-T2 tuner. Do i still need external antenna for reception?
*
😱You still need an antenna. Having an integrated digital tuner does not mean it has built in antenna. Get a UHF antenna, an active (powered) one

Get all digital channel from Singapore and malaysia. However Malaysia dtv signal is bad, keep pixelize and buffering. Color wise not as vibrant as singapore dtv. Using external anntena.
*
That means signal is weak where you are. Maybe they are still experimenting with the output power
