just use normal tv antenna with booster , you can but this at tesco
if your tv is build in dvb-t2 tuner is very easy to get signal, i stay at semenyih also can get 100% signal, rclxms.gif
if you use dvb-t2 decoder must facing to right direction.

Can anyone who already have the luck to have saved the preset in Klang Valley / Selangor let us know when the signal comes back?

Is this Thai product served your reception well ? Satisfied ?  biggrin.gif  rclxm9.gif

Northern part of peninsular still keep waiting for an unknown period of launch of DVB-T2 trial broadcast.
*
Very good actually. This SAMART Pro Strong is the only one of my three Thai STBs that could decode Dolby Audio enabling me to watch and hear Al Hijrah HD.

I might be going again soon to test and get more. Friends in Klang Valley are excited 😁

SAMART is pioneering in infocomm apparatus such as satellite TV apparatus (TVRO DVB-S2 receiver, dish), UHF antenna etc. Their reputation in this industry within Thai society is always there but their product is a bit expensive.

They may well be worth the price as I didn't see any smaller STB with Dolby Audio support than those by Samart. I am already targetting the Strong White STB next. 😁

Found this clip on youtube, is this your reception via SAMART, looks like the picture quality is perfect. how about ePG ?

*
Yup 😁

EPG is still gibberish. I think they are still setting it up.

Incidentally all my DVB reception equipment are bought in Thailand - the STB, TV, indoor & outdoor antennas 😁

if you have a tv with build in DVB do you still need the setbox for MYTV?
*
Nope. Make sure it's DVB-T2 though, not DVB-T

682MHz and 698MHz have lost channels 3,7 and 8. In fact if you rescan the tuner will not stop at those frequencies despite the signal indicators indicating its presence.

666MHz is now up. Three HD and 7 SD channels, though with TV3 not present. Al Hijrah on one of the HDs have a black band across the screen reading This Is A Test Signal From DMBH MYTV

What is DMBH ?

is it Digital Terrestrial Multimedia Broadcast  (DTMB) ?
*
DMB-H is supposedly Digital Multimedia Broadcasting - Handheld, though I cannot be sure that's what they mean on that message on Al Hijrah

Ok, 698MHz is down, 666MHz is up, 682MHz remains.

On 666MHz channels are now named, SIARAN UJIAN stamped on top of each channel, and finally Al Hijrah HD can be heard on my UCI non-Dolby STB. 666MHz does not carry Bernama TV.Attached Image

Where can I access this? Mind providing a link?

Some of the frequencies are already up despite the dates being stated as December 2016. And a lot are repeated. I would like to see this data in context...
