Thanks. Right now looking for contractor to do renovation work. Just had one quote, but was a bit pricey, now looking for other contractors. Need Contractor to do painting work (inside and outside) plus electrical and plumbing work plus re-tiling of all toilets plus minor extension to the front and back plus plaster ceiling.

our "depan" rumah looks the same. dalam a bit same.

A bit small lah but i am moving from an apartment cause i want a small garden pacth to play with my kids.

Sorry for late reply,

Can't recall the exact pricing. Should be around 7k +-. This is only acid staining. The concrete flooring is done by my contractor.

Can't recall the exact figures. My wet work about 80k, that include front and rear. My rear extension are will extra support and future by back can go build up without problem.

Wet work is only 50% of the cost, the rest come from tiling, electrical, and IDs

After moving in for almost 18months, here come a new challenge. Termite. It come out from the place I did not do treatment, and according to the pest control it also due to my neighbor renovation that make the termite go and scout for other place. Which kind of explan it happen just after my neighbor done the renovation. 1st discovery was near my bed @ 1st floor, but after I spray it, my first floor was clean for almost 2 months. While doing my own routine checking found it at my store / server room. Good as the damage is not bad. Is only paper box.

Called the termite company do baiting. Shall see how it go in few more baiting.

yup, and even prevention made must do self checking every month. Early detection save $$$.

One of the pets control teach me to put some small unwanted box in the corner, and regually check the box. Termite actually very selective eater. They will eat the best food first like tisue paper, paper box than only news paper if nothing else will eat wood.

I use stopest, you can get the contact from the website. Price wise is pretty standard in the market now. Market is ranging from 1.5 - 2k in baiting system. Mine is 1.6 for one year treatment, think the continue is about 500, yet to ask them for discount, will do it in year 2.

Baiting is good if the termite eat the bait, it will eleminate the colony. After that yearly monitor not treatment lah. Which I am still thinking want to continue or not.

If got time can standby the baiting and DIY. Saw few seller at ebay maybe I should try import in and standby smile.gif

i believe for long term solution to prevent termites is to seek help from pest control company to do perimeter drilling plus chemical injection (agenda EC) or you may try DIY by get the Stedfast termite solution from local hardware shop

TERMITE SOIL BARRIER TREATMENT

AGENDA 2.5 EC

Agenda’s (formerly Termidor) unique mode of action combines structural protection and colony management. It uses a new molecule called Fipronil, which is extremely active even at low doses. Agenda is made from a revolutionary non-repellent or undetectable chemical technology treatment. This means termites cannot see, smell, taste or avoid Agenda. Instead they contact, ingest, and share it with their nestmates. This amazing feature of Agenda makes it the Number 1 termite defense product in the world today.

Agenda is a termiticide that has been tested in Asia and around the world. Due to the tropical conditions and high intensity of termites often encountered in Asia, these trials represent the toughest test for any termiticide. No other termiticide in recent history has demonstrated such complete effectiveness at such a range of sites as Bayer's AGENDA.

Stedfast® Liquid. Repellent with quick knock-down. Optimal for long-term protection in combination with Ceptiva®. Termites Alpha-
