Actually, I don't know what this MPSJ doing. I think they just want to find a reason to reject and make submission 2nd time.

My Neighbor did not get reject, her on the first level extend the roof too. Making it like a open "Yam Cha" area.

My contractor staff stay in my house. For the last two month when his staff relocate to another place. I cover it with wood + nail it until my grills and door was up.

You need to get grill earliest possible. Sometime it take 4 to 5 weeks for delivery. Especially peak period like toward H.Raya, Deepavali, Year End, and CNY.

thanks for the advise...i consulted one steel guy....i said i have the windows measurements...but he said he needs the windows to be up before he can measure otherwise it wont be accurate...is that true?
*
Yes windows measurement no good for them, the grill mount on the cement wall, and many time the width on the top and bottom may be off by 1cm or more. Windows because the pit the frame, grill depend on wet work skill.

Thanks, Weikee, for sharing your experience.

Passed by your house last weekend and noticed that your neighbour has also done massive renovation to his house. IMHO, your neighbour house is overdone, looks kind of ugly & has also spoilt your facade. The huge balcony and columns seem out of place and does not have practical use. I wonder how the authorities could approve the design. Cheers.
*
Hi Crystal,

She like the grand style. Each people have its own taste, so cannot compare lah.

I think she got the permit with the design as the facade on the first floor is open area, not cover. Ah well, is her house so let her be loh.

Drove by your house to fetch my child from tuition. It is really none of my business but there is a saying in Chinese "see can't cross eyes' and so I attach a shot to show how out of place your neighbour's house is in relation to the others' ..... The good thing is your house is now shaded from the hot evening sun.
*
Think on the bright side, my house getting more low profile now, not worry of thief :-) if you look on the other side my house not too bad. I feel her neighbor affected most.
