look what I've tried earlier today....



CKW1000, and also another chance to try out it's sibling CKM1000.

verdict: superbly sounded eventhough playing straight from iPod without amp, without mod anything.

due to the crowd of people couldn't really try out all units, the W3000ANV and the amp was there as well!!

whats the difference between A series and AD series?

whr u tested it?

most probably at the Tokyo Headphone Festival now on.

A = Close back




AD = Open back




Generally close back good for monitoring more precisely since you get everything all-round.


while AD is famous with their maybe-super airy soundstage,

im using AD900, sound is way too lively, every single detail separation doing very good job.

from what i've heard, audio technica iem lines is not among the best to be considered, fact or myth?

if you're aiming the low/mid end iem products, very much fact.

AT iem products are only good on their mid/high end ranges.

lets see if i could try their iem lineup at Jaben, any recommendation for below RM300?

yep, Headphone Festival autumn edition at Tokyo. held twice every year.
managed to hook up Westone UM2 RC much cheaper than market price.

cant help much apart from that, i still dont know much

i think CKM55 is the comparable class

CKM55 is quite bassy, may be good for pop but compared to Bijou4, I find the bass overload lol.
that's my experience when replacing Bijou with it.

overload bass isnt my taste (remind me of my old EP-630)
