hi folks, i went to Jaben Pg yesterday and tried out a few ATH phones..

i gave AD1000PRM another chance and pair it with bro incubus' tube amp, totally changed my impression about the phone..
it has become so sweet after pairing with the amp..
and i feel terribly sorry for giving it a bad feedback before..
all the hissing(the 's' sound) in the songs disappeared and become so sweet, whereas the hissing sound is piercing my ears when i listen that particular song with AD900 and A2000x..

and btw, what kinda amp is suitable to pair with A2000x?
the sound becomes quite weird after pairing with little dot amp..

Haha best amp for Audio Tachnica headphone is Yamamoto amp. Haha. I bet Bro Akabane will said so too. Haha it make everything fly.

I guess just for start only. If you try with yamamoto sure lagi kena hehe...but if you mention ad1000prm is good then W11JPN will defenitely make you goose bump hehe you may cry went listen a very emotional music like celine dion-all by myself. This is proven that ad1000prm is very coloring headphone. We had a change to meet. I guess I will see in penang hehe. I'm planning my schedule to visit jaben penang as well as meet all member in penang. So penang members gather all folks. We from KL team coming to Penang town.

i personally perfer the govibe peak to drive the ad2000, as i like my music being a aggressive instead of laid back.

that said, i think the ad2000 deserve more (something in the 1k-1.5k range amp at least), so feel free to explore further on amp pairings

havent tried the AD2000..
was asking about A2000x.. it's quite a laid-back phone so tube amp definitely not suitable..
still trying to figure out which headphone suits me the most, after appropriate amping..

come la bro, the more people the merrier.. and maybe i can try ur AD900 then..
