tried LD amp with 4 tubes before, didn't give me the impact(like superbly impressive) but its SQ is really good.. warmer sound and wider soundstage.. or maybe different tube will give different sound signature? by doubling the same type of tube is like 'power UP' the perf.. Schiit LYR is a hybrid amp rite.. wondering if it suits AD series..
after some times of using my cheap hybrid amp, i found that the treble is a bit overwhelming for AD900.. i might go for pure tube amp if i still stick with AD series in the future.. still have to try out more headphones before i make my move.. |
