i did this from time to time, sometimes after the 'break' i can somehow feel quite refreshing listening to the headphone again and might notice some extra details i haven't noticed before.. but not every time la..

hi folks, i went to Jaben Pg yesterday and tried out a few ATH phones..

i gave AD1000PRM another chance and pair it with bro incubus' tube amp, totally changed my impression about the phone..
it has become so sweet after pairing with the amp..
and i feel terribly sorry for giving it a bad feedback before..
all the hissing(the 's' sound) in the songs disappeared and become so sweet, whereas the hissing sound is piercing my ears when i listen that particular song with AD900 and A2000x..

and btw, what kinda amp is suitable to pair with A2000x?
the sound becomes quite weird after pairing with little dot amp..

and the price for yammy is also...

we shall welcome the taikor with red carpet..

havent tried the AD2000..
was asking about A2000x.. it's quite a laid-back phone so tube amp definitely not suitable..
still trying to figure out which headphone suits me the most, after appropriate amping..

sure, why not? pair it with an amp to improve the SQ and up to ur preference..
i even tried my Pro700 MK2 with hybrid amp..

the road to the ultimate 'enlightenment' is not easy, too many options..

i see, actually i jz got the headphone not long ago and need more time to burn-in..
i notice the bass has become tighter after around 50hours of burning in..
when i first got it, the bass is so loose and the low is kinda disastrous.. (maybe im too used to AD900)
