I think the next one will be Strife since War and Death both somehow manage to obtain Strife's guns from the hands of other people.

Darksider 2 probably one of the best Hack n Slash ever, however Darksider 1 is flawed a bit on its controls everything else is ok(it is their First time afterall )

GET IT!!. One of the best hack and slash i've ever played. This game is done right with Keyboard & Mouse. Unlike *ahem* other Japanese MGR game. The art is truly .. Props to Joe Madureira.

I hope Crytek will make a DS3 though.

so far 39 hours , and i have not even reach earth

thought I should give this series a try ?

Should I get Darksiders or Darksiders 2 first?

2 is far more polished, bigger in scope and size. But 1 is what made the series popular. I enjoyed War more so than Death. Both in terms of abilities and character. Darksider 1 also has one of the most exhilarating game ending that sealed the game as one my all time favorites. But your mileage may vary.

If money is not an issue i say start with 1. The story is all related, and you will understand and appreciate the world of Darksider even more.

Problem is, only those who bought the old Franchise Pack can get the game for free. So even though you already got the game and all DLCs, the best they can give is 80% discount.
