QUOTE(dundermifflin @ Jun 15 2011, 09:11 AM) no of coz we are not, but sometimes people take advantage of the use of "s" at the back by referring it to "scums" and is used against some players and fans, specifically those living in Manchester..some opposition fans may say it's plural but I aint buying all of that i have no probs wif manc, i meant mancs btw it's almost like the use of ManU...there are those that meant ManUtd, and those that use it for the Munich disaster (another term for ManYoo) not that every use of those terms are for insulting everytime, which is why I personally just avoid using them..but if others wanna keep using them then let them be This post has been edited by SGSuser: Jun 15 2011, 09:35 AM |

yea as a player, he's nothing but a legend. im just kidding there.
but as a person, if all's true, then his sex life is really fcuked up. Added on June 15, 2011, 2:07 pmManchester United are reportedly closing in on the £27million signing of Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez, who is also a target for Barcelona and Manchester City Barca's bid to sign the highly-rated Chile international looks to have fallen through after the Spanish champions failed to meet Udinese's asking price, either as a cash bid or as a cash-plus-player deal. Sanchez's agent on Tuesday had insisted that a deal with Manchester City had not been agreed following reports that the Eastlands club were closing in on a deal for the 22-year-old (see below). But United look to be in pole position, with the Daily Mirror reporting that talks are underway between the Premier League champions and the Serie A club. United chief executive David Gill has flown out to Barcelona to meet with Udinese officials who were in the city to talk to Barca about a possible deal for the playmaker. But according to Wednesday's report, Gill has been seen in talks with Sanchez’s representatives who were earlier talking to Barca, with insiders revealing that the player wants to move to Old Trafford. Udinese wanted £30m for their prize asset but are set to reluctantly lower their valuation after Sanchez made it clear that he wanted to move. The player is currently in Chile but has reportedly been given permission by his national team to fly back to Europe should a transfer be lined up, in order to sign for a new club before the Copa America begins on July 1st. According to the Mirror, Sanchez wants to move to United as he believes he has a better chance of first team football than he would at Barcelona. Inter Milan and Juventus are also keen on signing Sanchez, who last week was reported to have already agreed a five-year deal with Barca. But although personal terms were reportedly agreed, even then it was known that he would prefer to join Sir Alex Ferguson's side http://www.crunchsports.com/category/Socce...l-201106150004/ This post has been edited by jhchong: Jun 15 2011, 02:07 PM |

Anyone watched Mexico play nowadays? Reminds me of the old United team. Fast counter attacking team with one touch passes.
against Costa Rica (I think), where our boy didn't score but his teammates scored a few nice goals. All come from great passes. Anyway, there are still more than enough time to make more signings. I can't wait for the next season! (even without major signings, I just want to see those youngsters to be unleashed |

Actually I hope AF does not sell those old player like wes brown. They still got one thing that other people don't have, which is experience. Understood that bringing up the youngsters are good, but having old players are important too.. I don't want Man United ends up like Arsenal >.<

honestly I don thk any of us hope a player like Brown to leave us, the guy has been a devil his entire career, one man club, period..but then again we cant be that selfish too if you get what I mean..He needs to play, not in the reserves but in competitive league matches.. With the squad we have now, plus the rumoured bust-up, he is way down the pecking order, that is just not fair to him..I don't blame him if he wants to go, or rather "forced" to go

We still need him, certainly not comfortable with just 3 fullbacks in the squad. Unless there could be a future for Valencia being backup for the rightback position? |

Unless there could be a future for Valencia being backup for the rightback position? call back Ritchie Da Laet, and we will have 4 and with Evra starting almost every matches, he is actually equivalent to 1.5 fullbacks lol |

Even though he may not have future in Man United, but he's still a good player to us. He himself also know that he can still become backup and cannot request first team as potential player rise up in the team. I hope he can become coach in the future.
