I got 2 lines at home 1 is 4mbps and the other 1 is 1mbps. On my 4mbps the speed is very much normal around 410-480kbps download from USA. But my 1mbps gets a shitty 5kbps. Both with same file from same server from USA. My guess is priority is given to 4mbps user. Is this another tactics to force user to upgrade?

I don't know if this works for everyone, but try restarting your modem until you get a different IP Address.
I am a 1Mbps user, and what I've noticed is everytime I get a 60.48.xx.xx IP address, I always get the optimum download speed which ~120KB/sec. But if I get a 60.50.xx.xx IP address, the download speed is usually not more than 10KB/sec.

yah i already to do dc and reconnect but i also can get ip 115.133 only
but we can't get 60.48 and no other ip that cannot get it

Ofcourse 4mbps is faster because I seem to not been effected by the current slowdown.

since early oct till now, my 1MB line is getting slower and slower.. so priority to unifi huh? or they CAP me?

That is based on my experience for the past month. If you want faster connection maybe you should consider upgrading to 4mbps.

Hey does anybody in this forum face a file sharing site slow download speed problem? =(

i noticed that these few days that my 1 mb connection can only go up to 5 kb for file sharing sites while just now i tested out download.com im downloading at full speed.
